Hey

I am very new to IM i have always been told that a great way to get back links for my site is to write Articles, wich i took on board and have been doing everyday for the past 3 months. I have been submitting them to Go articles, Article Base and probably about 10 more different high PR sites.

My issue is that i did a back link check on my site and it doesn't have one link from any article sites.

Just looking for a little help here, am i missing a steps is there something i should be doing after i publish my article? I there a programme i should purchase?

Any help would be greatly appropriated i am getting so frustrrated and PO as it seems three months of work has been wasted.

Thank you in advance for reading my question and your thoughts

  • May seem like a silly question but have you added hyper link code in your articles?

These sites should get picked up by the search engines daily however it is always worth pinging your articles once submitted so the search engines can find you articles and then follow the links to your site.

Use a service like pingoat or pingomatic

    • Thanks for getting back to me, yes i put the links in my resource box as that's what i was told to do, so if i ping them with one of those programmes then i will start seeing some links?

Thanks so much for the great answer it makes things a little clearer now .
Can you recommend and good training programmes or mentors/coaches on this system i would really like to spend an hour on skype talking one and one with them to get some advice, of course i am happy to pay for their time.
  • Firstly, if your using the link: operator in Google it only shows a small sample.

See this video for more info on link: operator

YouTube - ‪Two questions about the link: operator‬‏
Now, most link checkers use Yahoo Site Explorer and connect using an API (Application Programming Interface), so they are not 100% accurate, and only show a portion of links - in fact no link checker is completely accurate.

Article Marketing is only one method of backlinking you should be pursuing, I would start utilizing:
    • Social bookmarking
    • Forums (posts and profiles)
    • Link directories
    • Blog Commenting
    • Etc.

It sounds like you have been investing a lot of time into this, I would suggest against it. I would focus on creating lots of monetized content on your website, and either outsource to freelancers or reliable Backlink building providers. In addition, I would invest in automation software, such as Magic Submitter.

    If need anything PM me.

    Goodluck,
