Pingback question..

I just wanted to know, when you get pingbacks when you make a post on your blog and you get a ping as a comment.

Do you remove them as spam or do you approve them?

The reason i ask is because will it be seen as duplicat content as the comment uses some of the origanal blog post.

  • I don't think is there is any specific time for getting ping backs. I will get it within one day. Yeah, sure lot of spam comments are coming in these days and will not accept most of them.
  • I have about 10 pingback comments, but i wanted to know if they hurt your seo effort though.

    Because the ping backs/comments, are just a segment of my actual blog post so is this seen by google as duplicate content?

    Should i just mark the ping back as spam?

  • yep approve it. i use pingbacks massively, the more the merrier
  • Ping backs offer no value. Delete!
