First Ever Website Using AdSense

Hi,

I've just created my first adsense-enabled website - it's been up less than a week but I'd like some critique on my website as I know myself that it's not 'amazing' - I feel that more people will be bouncing away from the website as it's not that relevant to what they're probably looking for - any it's a bit bare at the minute, please take a look:

Nice design! Might be too nice and actually get people staying to read, rather than clicking on the ads

      Did you design it yourself?

Thanks Ellush!, I did design it myself yes - I've just never got around to designing a website for myself as I mostly work with our corporate websites where I work.

An idea I've came up with is to get at least 10 products per page and on the home page create a 'Featured Products' section - I may also stop linking them directly to the relevant Amazon page and write in a brief description of the product for each.

I welcome and appreciate all feedback regarding this.
