BMR helped get out of the dance?

Hey guys, I'm curious about something.

Been using the BMR service and social bookmarking for about 3 weeks and now

I see that a site I promoted with both services is back to #3 in Google.co.uk

and #45 in Google.com when it vanished for 4-6 months...

The other site that I promoted only with social bookmarking is back on #5 in

Google.co.uk and 20+ in Google.com


You think it's BMR + Social Bookmarking sites or again the Google dance and

they will both disappear again for a long time as they did before?

    It's hard to tell, but in my experience Build My Rank is a good place to build high quality links, so it should over time help your site climb the SERPs

    How many links have you built to your site in total?

      Not too many, I promote like 5 sites there now so for those keywords maybe 20 links I've built so far. I try to build 1 link per day for a keyword so it wouldn't look too suspicious to Google that I get a lot of backlinks suddenly when I didn't build so much before.

      Increase it over time maybe?

    2. Did you get your maximum backlink limit per day with BMR, (it's 10 backlinks/ domain/ day)? It'll be better if you use it that way.

    Be consistent with it, you'll see the result surely, just make sure you also do another backlinking method out of BMR, like profile backlink. It's highly recommended to do that. =)

      1) I promote home page and inner page, 2 keywords for that specific site.

      2) No, I only do 1 backlink per keyword now, don't want it to be too suspicious to Google that after a long time of not building links, I suddenly have 10 a day...

      Maybe I should do more links per keyword over time with BMR?

      Yes, it came back yesterday....and then I found the thread here that Google

      effected everyone so it wasn't BMR probably but Google experimenting...

      Any idea what's going on now with this Google change?

        Google has been all over the place lately. Looks like they are tweaking things here and there because obviously the mayday update didn't give them the exact results that they were looking for.

        So keep doing what you're doing and don't let their tweaking of the algo keep you from progressing forward in the meantime.
