Higher / Better Ranking but Lower Traffic or Adsense Revenue.

Dear warriors,

I've a question. A doubt. Previously, my site was hosted on Blogger platform and it drives roughly 1,500 uniques a day and adsense revenue was around $6 average in a month.

However, I've read about google randomly closing down a lot of blogspots without any notice, therefore I am migrating the whole blog to wordpress (Self-hosted). Make a lot of SEO tweak and etc, now my search ranking are appearing much more in Google search but my daily uniques for is going down as well as my adsense. roughly $2 average now.

Domain is the same but the blog spot url is different now, I've submitted new sitemaps and waiting google to index and clear the old cache. I've also read that there are a lot of other sites having low adsense revenue as well as traffic (due to summer holiday / tennis tournament)

I'm not sure which of this is my problem. Was is really due to summer holidays or there's something wrong with my site? What do I need to do in order to let google clear the cache or replacing the new url over the old one?

If nothing can be manually here, how long shall I need to wait for Google to clear the old cache?

A lot of 404 Page Not Found from google currently =(

Please help!

If your search rankings are up, but traffic is down it can only mean there aren't as many people looking for that (was it a seasonal thing?) or maybe your meta content for the search results changed on the switch, resulting in a lower CTR. Check those out.

Just wait for several days, Google is updating your website's indexed pages I guess. And since urls changes, 404 pages appears more is normal, so the temporary earning decrease is normal.
