Don't chew me out, I've never worked with adsense yet!

I understand how AdSense works, as in you get paid everytime someone clicks one of the ads on your website.

My question is, are click thrus the only way you make money with AdSense?

If so, then does that mean your AdSense income is solely dependent on the amount of traffic your website is getting? (more people visiting = more chance of click thrus?)

Yes, and yes. Traffic * click through rate*cost per click = your profit

Adsense is sll sbout CTR - Click through rate- how many people go page, realtive to how many click the links. Ad placement and market (amount per click) are important

Though SOME ads are paid per impression, never did work out how that works on the Adsense end, but it's peanuts. Maybe someone who has done the Adwords end of that can explain better. But yes, clicks is king - legit clicks of course.

For only one big website, how many monthly unique visitors would you say is needed to be making a few hundred dollars from AdSense per day?
