Well I am targeting more then 5 keywords for my home page. I am on page 1 for all keywords. But I cant achieve the #1 of any page. Is it because of my Multi keywords?

I have used all 5 keywords on my title page, meta keyword description etc. I thinks this is the reason I cant go to #1 of SERP.

Please help me...............

Well, Targeting 5 keywords on one page doesn't effect SERP but yes, It would be hard to maintain the ranking if you stuff all of your major keywords on one page

I usually design the home page to target the major keyword and then use sub pages and back link text to target less prominent keywords. I've learned not to ignore less prominent longer tailed keywords as you can achive page 1 ranking more easily.

I agree with Kim, be hard to maintain.

Just create 5 pages, each targetting one phrase at a time, make sure teh link structure is right and build links to all 5 pages !

Everytime you improve one pages rank, the other pages will improve too, dont place all your keywords on one page and target them all there, spread them out and do it per page !

It will not hurt your rankings to target 5 keywords for one page. Just don't stuff them, and continue to build high quality backlinks using those keywords as anchor text.

Yes, Targeting 5 keywords for one page can't kill your SERP. You just need to be professional and build rich quality backlinks and use your keywords in anchor text. You'll soon got 1st rank.

No, it won't harm your other SERP rankings. It isn't so hard to maintain either as long as you know what you are doing.

I would stick with one or two main "keywords" per page, along with one main "keyphrase" per page. Then create a 6th page and link them all together. Be sure to also interlink your other 5 pages together.

I think it ll not harm your SERP.But it needs very hard and equal work to maintain positions of all keywords. You can see various websites have multiple keywords for homepage. But for inner pages you should target particular keyword for one page.
    Thanks!

It greatly depends on your dedication to rank each keyword. If you're building quality backlinks regularly for each keyword, then you should be able to rank them all.
