  • Simply put, it was a large change in Googles algorithms to where low valued sites such as (auto blogs/link farms) would stop appearing in the search query.

  • That's really a news for me,, when does it appear? This May? Cos I noticed some changes in links and ranks for the site, it looks like a big change. But it is good that google do it coz there were too many sites and SEOers' copy work and just in order to get ranks.

    • Hi Warriors,

At risk of ruffling a few feathers, I will share with you what I think this thread is all about.

A relatively new forum member posts a very simple question, the kind of question you could find the answer to in 2 seconds by a Google search. Next, we see a number of freshly created forum member accounts posting replies that are about as lame as the original question, with signature links in place. Of course there is usually a few real human forum members that get sucked into the thread who are apparently unaware that they just stumbled onto a spamfest thread created for the express purpose of spamming a bunch of signature links through those fake member accounts that were created by a a spambot.

What makes it so darn obvious is that the OP is supposed to be a professional SEO according to her profile in her signature link.

Apparently this is the new Warrior Forum, it kind of reminds me of the way DP used to be.

  • Don, it was an obvious troll-post, I think I even reported it, but there was a vague attempt at humour so it evidently got through (I joined in the jocularity later - if you can't beat 'em...). But I totally agree, a vast number of those kinds of thin posts get started and people just fall for them and suddenly there is a feverish discussion (occasionally you actually get a decent thread out of it, paradoxically). There was one in the Programming forum recently along the lines of "What is your favourite programming language?" that was, I kid you not, 3 PAGES of people listing what their favourite programming language is. I reported the thread and it was gone in minutes. You'd think a forum full of IMers (and a lot of trolls/forum spammers at that) would recognise spam immediately and report it, but it seems not. I find it very odd...

So u think u are a police and its ur holly duty to report about any thread?

However here on Warrior forums we discuss about A to Z. From beginner to advanced everybody get benefited from this reputed forum. I am a newbie in IM world. So I was asking question and its not a spam like u are thinking. By the way ur signature link is making me skeptical. I think u are spamming here.

And another interesting news for u. I hope u will not try to report the thread after learning the news! Few days ago one novice like me asked "What is Mat Cut?" can u believe? And also I have asked a question "What is 10k? Is k=korean money?" u can report about those two thread. Coz from ur point of view these tow are spams.

Google panda will remove all those websites and pages who have duplicate content and pages which are not at all useful for website visitors.
