Yuk, a .info domain? Not a great start.

But, hey your not dead in the water. Although, you might want to think about changing it to a .com or .org now, before you start hitting it hard later on, and you won't want to change it.

First of all... do you know where (if at all) your rankings in the SERPS for thus keyword?

Secondly... what have you done to get ranked? Did you launch the site with content already on it? How much and what content specifically have you posted to your site?

You want good content (value-add) that not only targets your keyword but targets closely related keywords, e.g. target keyword "iPhone for sale" you want to have severa article with that keyword, it's variations and relevant keywords to that. You also want articles about the market and product itself, content on say, Steve Jobs, Apple, Blackberry, iPhone 3G, 3GS, Apple Dev Con, MacWorld (etc)

Then... what have you done for traffic and backlinking?

You need a diverse backlinking pattern; social bookmarking, profile, high pr backlinks from PR5 - PR10 sites, .edu and other authority sites. As well as, press releases, articles, etc.

Food for thought...

You need to promote your site more. Especially with a .info domain. I have one that I worked on for a few months and got very little traffic to it at all.

What I have found that works since then is...
As was mentioned... Add value to the web page. Add video. Add audio to the webpages themselves.
Also, link out to other sites in an effort to "point your visitors in the right direction". For instance, if you are in the health niche there are a ton of .gov and .edu sites that you could link to. Forget about the backlink at this time as you will get to that. Google is all about people who search being happy with what they find while searching.

Now I am in no way encouraging any type of "leaking" of visitors from the main page. However, you have to show google that your page is an authority site. Just having a lot of people that link to your site is not necessarily an indication that the content is the good. And this is precisely what Google thinks too.

Bottom line, give your inbound users a reason to come back to the blog and want to read what you have to say. And who knows? You might make it to the 1st page of google.

Why is a .info domain worse then eg. a .com? I heard they are exactly the same as for SEO. Also, as for my backlinks, I did 2 Press releases, submitted a spun article with Article Marketing Robot to 250+ auto approve directories, did a couple of Yahoo answers backlinks and well that's all for now.
