150 "auto-approve" article directories - a list

I just did an AMR blast (not dripped, just straight out) to around 2000 directories and immediately collected the links that went live straight away. I can't say for sure these are ALL auto-approve, maybe some just have very quick reviewers. I doubt it though .

So these are article directories you can get an instant backlink from, basically. Of course, it's a lot easier with AMR, but you could do these manually too... Make no mistake though, these are pretty low-quality links these days, probably only worth leveraging automatically. BTW, the PR is what AMR says is the site PR, I have not checked those few that claim to be more than 0, but most are PR 0 anyway, unsurprisingly. Also, I take no responsibility for what you do with these, or for the names of some of them (burning the Koran?!)! Just thought a Warrior or two might find it useful.

NOTE ADDED: another Warrior posted a list of 700 auto-approve article sites further down in this thread, here http://www.warriorforum.com/adsense-...ml#post4063835, check it out. Probably some of them coincide with my list.

Nice share, I hope you don't blast like that everyday though. When I use AMR I use my second computer to run the software and run it at a DRIP. I buy all the articles related to my niche making the articles high rich content, fully optimized linking to only backlinks on my site. This is why my websites all get good SE traffic, also I do this with web 2.0 sites and blog posts.

No, I definitely wouldn't link directly to my site with a random AMR blast nowadays. I used to do that until recently and it didn't actually harm my site, it just didn't seem to have any effect though, beyond a certain point. I don't want to risk it any more either way.

Actually, this blast was to create backlinks to the backlinks to my web 2.0 backlinks Like a third tier, or a way of getting the 2nd tier indexed better. That's kind of the way I am using AMR these days, it's slower but more effective, I think, though I am still waiting for conclusive results. The SERPS are in chaos right now, it seems...

I've always linked to higher authority sites which backlink to my website to avoid getting dinged by Google but am starting to wonder if that's necessary.

    Your thoughts?
I have seen people use this to link directly to their sites with good results. However, most of these directories can only provide low quality links, and a huge blast could have a negative effect on your site.

Personally I have never had any trouble linking directly from sites link this to my money sites, but I do it slowly and consistently so as to look natural - I never blast out loads of links one day then leave it for weeks. Also, I use other link sources too - so I think done carefully and as part of a good backlinking strategy it can be fine.

That said, there is no harm just using them to link to higher authority sites as you said. I often do this too.

      You got me there

Actually, I forgot to mention that 150/2000 is not the best rate - the particular article is in a niche which is tricky to find a category for (languages!), but I would rather post it in the correct category and get a lower acceptance rate than be posting an article about languages under Home Improvement or whatever! More general niches like Business you can get a better acceptance rate with, though to get your 700 auto-approves I guess you have more than 2000 signups

the word 'auto' is not really so good in SEO world so look it out when you try anything. it's better to test some random site first before you're gonna use it in your main sites.

On article marketing, Matt Cutts from Google said that he didn't recommend article marketing these days. The implication was that the quality of the links would be pretty poor. So unless you expect to get a reasonable amount of direct traffic from your article links it may not be such a good idea to spend a lot of time on article marketing. Furthermore, do you really want to run the risk of getting in trouble with Google for a couple of hundred low quality links from PR0 sites like those listed above?
    {{ DiscussionBoard.errors[4418576].message }}

How could you get in trouble when anyone can submit links to any site they want?

The value of the links maybe poor, but I thought one of the main powers was about syndication. Your article gets scraped from article directories and you get backlinks from other blogs, etc..

I know this may be a little out of topic, but how do you actually add directories to AMR?

I tried doing it through Import/export site list and it gives 2 options:

1- import from url list which doesn't allow copy pasting and obviously typing one url at a time will take forever'

2- import/export from AMR list which is not what I need.

    I would apprcite any help.

A huge number of these links are DEAD. This is the kind of junk being propagated that harms the SEO of a website. These are links that have little (probably ZERO) editorial review, exactly the type google notices when you have too many of them.

Let me just point out that as the OP I posted this list over a year and a half ago, it's an old thread. The links weren't that useful then and I would absolutely NOT bother with these kinds of links these days, total waste of time, like article directories in general. I assume AMR has pretty much died a death too, at least in the form it was, I don't even have it installed any more, made me some money for a while, but spamming crappy article directories is worse than pointless now.
