How can i get traffic to my site

Hello friend i really need help from you concerning how i can drive traffic to my site,

Am new into the IM and my site is on relationship. i have gone through the forum am interested in guest blogging but i do not know how to start it on that my relationship site, i have mailed some blogger about my interest but i did not get any reply from them. please what do i do for i really need help.

    If you have some funds try Adwords to get a flurry of traffic. When the campaign stops maybe you will have returning visitors because they like your site.

      If you want to guest post, you need to build relationships with other blog owners. Just randomly emailing them isn't likely to work. Find blogs where the writers are active in comment discussions. Engage in meaningful discussions with them. When the time is right, ask them about guest posting.

      I'd recommend submitting a press release through webwire (it's $20) to get things rolling. I have great success using their service.

    I would stay away from Google Adwords. If you don't know what your doing you will go through a lot of money, FAST.

    There are other pay-per-click sites out there that are A LOT cheaper than Google and you will get some of the same results for a lot less. If you Google pay-per-click search engines you find there are about 220 different ones to choose from.

    If you don't want to pay for your traffic there are many other ways to increase it for free. Like article writing, getting on Social networks, creating an opt-in page to capture targeted traffic etc.

    Actually you need to write unique article and submit to them.Don't simply contact them.They don't even have time to answer all members questions.

    Personally I think that you could target organic search engine traffic initially. Get some content up there (based around targetted keywords) and then get some backlinks built through article sites, social bookmarks etc.

    Have you considered building up a group of friends that are interested in what you write? I know it sounds simple, but that is really what produces the quality traffic you need. I recently started an experiment with a site that had dropped out of google mostly just as an experiment, and it worked better than expected. Here is the WF Thread where I reported my progress.

    You site seems very interesting. You don't have to spend some money for you to generate traffic to your site. You just have to update your site and make it more interesting so that you can catch the attention of your visitors. After that, you can start spreading your site all over the internet through link building.

    There are a lot of good ideas here.
    I want to add one more. To get the search engines to notice your site, the content should be keyword focused and should be optimized.

    Get a couple of good keywords that you are trying to rank for. If you are using a self hosted wordpress blog, download the free Vibe SEO plugin. This plugin will help you write optimized content.
    Also sign up for Google Analytics or Statcounter.com so that you can track your website stats.
    Once your blog is optimized, start a backlinking system including article marketing and bookmarking.

    The one thing that is needed is patience. It generally takes a few weeks for even the best blogs to start getting real traffic.
    Be patient, put in the time, check your stats, and modify where you need to.

    Decent traffic can be achieved quite quickly by just spending time in forums related to your niche. Provide usefull discussions and gently push them towards your site.

    Repeat this as much as possible (without getting on peoples nerves).

    If you have a truly great site, there is no problem with showing it off

    Social bookmark your site. Stumbleupon is great if you have interesting content. But like people said, engage in meaningful discussions on forums and social networks for creating the best buzz about your site.

    To get into guest blogging you have to prove yourself a little bit to others. Keep trying, make yourself known, and eventually you'll get noticed by others and might even be asked to do a guest blog post somewhere.

      Try to get backlinks from an authority sites, posting in forums related to your niche market, and article submission. Try Google Adwords campaign when your ready because it could be costly.
