    • Can AnyBody Tell Me That How is "Keyword Sniper Pro" ?
  • Adwords KW tool gives you lots of long tail kws... completely free, too. You can use the "*" (wildcard) if you're looking for something with a certain phrase it it. For example you put:

    * celebrity hairstyles

in the adwords kw tool and click on "exact match"

and it will give you all of the kw ppl are searching for with "celebrity hairstyles" in the term. so it would return:

    [celebrity hairstyles 2011]
    [celebrity hairstyles 2010]
    [celebrity hairstyles magazine]
    [black celebrity hairstyles 2010]
    [short celebrity hairstyles 2010]
    [celebrity hairstyles and haircuts]
    [short celebrity hairstyles]
    [black celebrity hairstyles]

    ect.....

you can find a LOT of kw this way. most people don't know about it.
    Hope this helps.

    • I prefer using Google Adwords for it gives the most accurate and reliable Keyword Searches based on their query. For you to get the best result, I suggest to get those keyword with High Local and Monthly Searches but has a Low Competition. In this way, targeting is easy.
  • Micro niche finder
  • Semrush can do this.
  • I prefer the google keyword tool. It's free and I haven't seen any proof that a paid software app like market samurai or anything like it is better.

    • I like Google Keyword Tool to find keywords too. I mainly just use Market Samurai for SEO and backlinks analysis rather than finding keywords.

  • The google adwords tool provides accurate results besides its free.
  • I use Brad callens niche finder in conjunction with traffic travis, the free version to do my keyword research. Travic travis is good beacuse it show's you all of your top 10 competions, page rank, url and backlinks, edu, on page seo like tite, h2,h1, etc. So it gives you an overall better idea of what your dealing with.

A lot of sites are not really on paged optimized, suprisingly and could be easily beaten with some perfect on page seo. I have seen pages with great on page seo , and very low backlinks beat pages with high backlinks and poor on page seo.
You have to take all of the variables into account, backlinks isnt everything.

  • I have found Word Tracker to be decent for keyword research.
  • According to me, the best is the free google adwords keyword suggestion tool
  • I've been using Micro Niche Finder for about 5 years. I start out with Google Keywords Tools to get a list of keywords, import into MNF for competition analysis and then use the free version of Traffic Travis if I need more specific information on a particular keyword.
  • Keyword Elite 2.0 is very hand suite of tools where you can have a deep analysis.
  • Thank you for posting your answers I'm sort of a newbie and I really found this to be very helpful! :-)
  • I am new to Semrush but I fund it very efficient.

    • Has anyone used Micro Niche Finder to find high ranking sites with Google and see exactly where those sites are getting their backlinks from? I know you can do this with Market Samurai but not sure about MNF.

      Thanks
      Steve

  • Keyword Sniper Pro 2.0 from Jack Duncan is the best hands-down.
  • Google Adwords remains the top no more and if there are not very helpful
