Which is Better: Post Name | Site Name VS. Post Name

Basically I was using the permalink structure just to include the post name but am using an SEO plugin which has a default of Post Name | Site Name.

It got me wondering which structure is better; to include the site name or just the post name? I'd do the post name first either way, but should the site name be in there?

    I think it's better to have the post name first. Just the post name would be fine, but from a non-SEO perspective, including the site name too would help branding.

    You can see successful blogs with both structures - So just look at the world top blogs and decide yourself

    However, Post Name | Site Name would be better in any of our case.

    If you see Mashable, TechCrunch, Engadget, they just use the post name as they are very high authority blogs and they have no need to include their site name.
