I thought Adsense Arbitrage was not allowed within either the Adwords or Adsense TOS...

Yet here Google has done a case study of a website that uses both technologys on the same site:

  • "his online marketing strategy now includes Google AdWords to drive traffic to Medical Coding.Net; Froogle to increase visibility and gain customers for his specialty software; and AdSense (AdWords ads on content pages). He intends to leverage this combination of all three Google programs in order to gain traffic, clicks and buyers."

Good eye, must be a case of the author not seeing the forest for the trees.

    • I suspect that if you tried this and got your account tossed, that you would not get it reinstated even if you referenced this article.
  • I'd like to see the policy it is breaking if anyone has it?

AdSense Arbitrage refers to sending them to a page with nothing but ads on them. I checked out their site and it looks fine to me.

    • I agree with Fraggler, I thought it was okay to use AdWords and AdSense together as long as the purpose of driving the traffic wasn't just to make people click on ads.
