E-Commerce SEO Help Needed

Hello Guys

I am facing some big problem in optimizing one Ecommerce website. The Company has two ecommerce website and one website is rank in Google.com for more than 20 keywords. The company sales Contact Lenses and its one website is ranking for the word "Contact Lens" and other 20 highly searched keywords with 135000 search volumes.

I need help to optimize other website which is clone of their first site with some designing and other changes.

  • How should I optimize new Ecommerce website. I have done URL modification and meta data and Listed over 80 Products in Google Product.

  • Can you guys please let me know a good strategy to rank few keywords in 3 months ? How many keywords can be ranked in 3 months ?


  • What should I do to achieve rank in 3 months ? not for all keywords but at least 3-5 keywords.

        some more info actually they want their two sites to rank well in Search engines so that it will give them more business. I had read the stickies and I have optimized meta data, URLs and I have place Products in Google Product listing.

        My problem is that I need to compete with their own website and rank other website. That previous website was not optimized by me as they had some issue with their previous SEO guys so they have stopped working with them.

        I have given new website to rank in 3 months so then after they can provide their previous website to optimize. That website is earning more than $20,000 per month so just do not want to loose any earnings.

        Can you suggest what should I do to rank other website in 3 months ?

    Beyond the very basics with their internal link structure, URL structure and title tags, you need to start working offsite and get backlinks in order for the new site to rank.

    I've managed campaigns in the same niche and have done extensive backlink checks on major keywords related to the Contact Lenses industry. You are going up against large budgets that aren't afraid to pay some top dollar for paid links, PR campaigns, and other outside of the box SEO techniques.

    I'd recommend going after some smaller fish keywords and working your way up. Otherwise you are biting off more than you can chew at the moment.

      I agree And I like to update that client was targeting UK previously and now they want to target global market with their new niche so they do not loose current business in UK where they are earning more than $30000/Month

      What are the best way to improve traffic and sales for new website. I am not asking for rapid growth but improvement in some extent in 3 months

    In my experience you should try social network sites, there is a big audience there if you could do interesting topics and unique contents there you would have a big chance in succeeding there.
