i had google drop after using webmaster tools ?

hello guys,
i just had this weird experience.. my site rank on #35-40 on Google. But today i 'register' to google via google webmaster tools, verify the site, and submit xml-sitemaps for post, pages, tags, category, etc... and 3-5 hours later... bang ! it drops to #98 ??

should i remove the sitemap ? anybody has this weird experience before ?

    Allot of sites have been going down this week! Including Mine , because of Panda 2.2 , which was supposedly went live in Google algo Yesterday:/

    Just get the information of new panda update. However I am not seeing any down for my sites yet.

    you are not the only one who has had this happen after verifying their website with webmaster tools. I have heard of people verifying their entire network of sites and within 48 hours the entire network drops out of the SERPS.

    Have you been doing any other heavy link building the past few days causing your site to maybe dance? Or is webmaster tools the only variant?

    Where can i get information regarding the launch of google panda 2.2?
    @derek.. I was doing some indexer routines like "ping" domains to dns sites, pings my posts to ping sites. I installed wprobot for specific category with videos. Maybe i'm using heavy keyword density for my targetted keyword.. Lots of factor here... Sigh
