IM going to create a page to try and rank need advice

Im not sure whether to try and create a blog post or a page to rank for a secondary search term in a local only market, none of my competitors know anything about link building or seo by the look of it so what advice would you give me?

I know enough about on page but what would you recommend for link building seeing as it should be relatively easy to rank- the amount of searches doesnt even show up on Google keyword tool!

      If the term is relatively simple to rank as you mentioned, just do exactly that in a moderate way. Remember 'as humanly as possible' ...so be thoughtful on how you use scrapebox, that thing works but just be careful not to trigger the spam alarm by sending 1,000's of links in the next hours!

    You want to rank high, you need high-quality content and links! That is pretty important to Google search! I think you should focus on these two points!

    if you want to get rank higher then create some unique content and post them on popular sites like ezine article, hubpage. you can rank your hub page easily by posting quality content over there.
