OnSite SEO Question - Does A (,) Affect?

Hi, I was recently asked, for OnSite Optimization, if you were targeting, for example keyword "solicitors sydney", would it be ok to have your OnSite content have something like:

"When searching for solicitors, Sydney is a great place to find..."

The question being, if I'm throwing anchor text of "solicitors sydney", but in the content the exact phrase "solicitors, Sydney" is mentioned throughout (2% density), would that still count as good OnSite, or would the comma (,) affect it?

Any help woud be much appreciated.

    Most seo reports tell you that Google doesn't pay attention to punctuation, so commas don't matter.

    Yes, your example is an example of something I personally always do in backlinking.

    It gives your link profile some really natural links and this helps in pushing your rankings up for "solicitors Sydney".

    I often even link the words in different orders and this seems to help too.

    To give you a bit of an idea, I usually try to focus about 80% of my backlinks to exact keywords and 20% to variations like you specified above.
