Squeeze page out-ranking me

I'm ranked #12 with loads of content, and 100ish backlinks.
There is a squeeze page ranked #7 with obviously next to nothing content and 1 backlink and it's out-ranking me.
At first I thought it was relatively new website and Google were just trying to find it's actual place. But if I had to guess it's been in that position for a week now.
Why could this be? :confused:
