They do exist! A $10.30 adsense click (pic inside)

A few years ago I fell into the trap of building a website for high CPC keywords. Problem one it was super hard to get natural traffic from search engines (lots of competition) and I didn't know as much back then about link building as I do now. problem two is that when I finally got clicks they were still under $1 each, so I just gave up and the site has been sitting making me about $20 a month.

Recently I decided to check the adsense and I noticed I made more than usual. I remembered that I installed adsense / analytics combo so I could see what pages were making me $$$ via adsense, I found this gem!

edit* - changed the pic to follow adsense TOS

$10.30 for one single click! NICE, I didn't think they existed until this very day

    Highest I had was $12.

Woops! I normally black out that info for screenshots of adsense, forgot about this one though because it's through google analytics!

Also it says "relating to property" I wonder if this would be in the clear because I don't actually reveal the website or niche

No, they are saying that they are their stats that they are sharing with you on the condition you don't share them with anyone else.

I've had a few > $15 but the traffic is hard to get. These advertisers are either experts with a reliable ROI or they are absolute beginners who burn through their budget so fast that the clicks are so rare. :p

The high paying clicks do come from niches with a reliable $1+/click average so they are worth looking out for. Keep your eyes peeled for long tails in the niche as you don't need much traffic to get a great return. Many forget that the Content Network is themed (and placement) based so look straight to the super competitive rather than the low hanging fruit in the same 'theme'.

Good to see you connected the Adsense + Analytics, now you know the exact page URL that had the $10.30 click.

Try & drive a bunch of traffic to that page (internal link on every page pointing to that page) & see what happens.

Is that sites Adsense setup for Interest-based Ads?

Congrats on that gem! You know what, I never believed it was possible untill seeing this, provided you did not mess with it , just kidding. Now, be aware, people will contact you and start asking what niche it is, what kind of keyword.

Anyone else some proof of high paying Adsense clicks? Would love to see some more.

Those clicks are great. My best click ever was a single $20 click ($20.00). I've never approached that again, but I've had a few $5 clicks, lots of $3 clicks and I am "lucky" enough to average $1 clicks (today my average is better than $2)

I don't mind revealing one niche that has very high CPC: online education. Try checking the CPC for "online degree" or "online college degree." You can all thank me

The problem with high CPC keywords though is most are virtually Impossible to rank for :p
But if you got traffic coming in via FB PPC, or any other PPC besides adwords (Because u'd be paying 10 bucks per click as you know) Then you're site would be pretty damn awesome.
If you can get 50 clicks a day on 10 bucks that's $500. Adwords can be pretty cool if you got the traffic.

But this post is just making me iche to get a dedicated adwords site
            Cheers

Who says the page has to be ranked in the SERPs?

I get an average 5-6 page views on most of my sites, it only takes a single page to bring in the traffic per unique visit. That means I have a chance of getting a high dollar click on 4 other keyword pages that are harder to rank in Google.

Sometimes ranking pages with zero Adsense Ads can boost your Adsense earnings. Sacrifice an easy to rank keyword just to get traffic, then move the traffic from the easy to rank page to higher competition Adwords keyword pages on your site.

BTW, I'm not talking about redirects, I'm talking about the only links on the easy to rank page leads to higher paying internal keyword pages.

              Example:

              1) Easy to rank keyword "how to change spark plugs chevy tahoe"

              2) Four internal links on the above page (step 1) that all point to a higher dollar per click keyword "car insurance"

              3) You don't have to stress over trying to rank the 4 internal pages for the keyword "car insurance", unless you really want to.

The above keyword car insurance is a keyword I wouldn't even bother tyring to rank in the SERPs. Just ranking the keyword is only half the work, you would still have to try & maintain that rank for all of time. I would rather rank easy keywords, bring in the traffic, then move them to higher paying Adsense pages.

Yeah, but its more than content right -- you have to choose the right keywords that someone will bit the adword up to that amount. Then you get into loads of competition

Awesome possum! I had a $10.50 click once...but haven't gotten one that high since. lol I know what niche it was in though, so I plan on focusing on that niche sometime down the road for adsense. Just have too many projects right now. Thanks for sharing with everyone!
