Can someone kindly explain does the Referring Domain column mean? & How is it different the regular BLP?

I know its the # of unique domains that point back to a specific URL.


If someone can give an example that would be a big help!

    I think you kind of answered your own question....

    A site may have 10 total backlinks but if they are all from the same website they won't hold as much weight. An example would be when you submit to a website directory and you end up on the "New Listings" which sometimes show up on every page. You could end up with hundreds of backlinks because of that but hundreds of backlinks from ONE domain don't really mean much. So referring domain count is the number of DOMAINS that link to a website and not just the number of pages.
