Changing URL in backlinks

I had a year old domain with few backlinks to it, I delete it because of some trade mark issue, now I am building new site but with new domain name with no keyword in it , I am wondering if it's possible to go back and change the url in the backlinks I built for my old domain because I like to keep the same anchor text. Thank you guys

  • If it has been a year already since the backlinks were created there is a good chance they were already indexed. If this is the case, no you cannot change the backlinks for any good.

  • No its not possible unless you own the pages that you placed the backlinks on or have the accounts where you placed the backlinks before.

    The other option is a 301 redirect, but chances are you don't own the old domain anymore so thats out.
