Adsense - should I keep going?

Hello all, I've been experimenting around trying different things. I made a niche website where I got about 52 unique views and 5 clicks. The money was really low like about $.88 all together. However, I haven't invested a lot of time on the website. The fact that I saw clicks, with that low of unique views, should I push the site even further with traffic/SEO so I can get more out of adsense? Is that a green light for me to invest more time on this site? Or adsense is not even worth it at all? Thanks guys!

Would need more info. What did it take to get that traffic and what is the traffic potential? Were you aiming for high volume or high CPC? Sounds like you are getting a decent CTR on your site.

You'll need a lot more traffic and clicks before you can really make up your mind if it's still viable. At the moment you're getting just under 10% CTR which is ok - nothing special.

Try adding more content to your site to bulk it up a bit. You'll get more traffic that way and then you'll know if it's a good idea to stick with Adsense.

there's definitely still money in adsense - it's all about content.

I depends if you are doing micro niche sites are broader niches.

If you're doing microniches don't worry about content quality - worry about getting tons of content.

Broader niches are a lot more difficult. You need quality content which is likely to be reshared and not to overhype the adsense.

I have the same doubt too... ever since adsense changed to adchoice... their ctr payout was so damn low. I used to get like $6-$10 a day and now??? only $1-$3... i hate it!

    Awesome info! Thanks guys.

How ironic - I was using adwords, but then I got suspended and now I can no longer use that URL. I'm assuming because there WASN'T enough content.

I'll definitely work on the content and test it out a little bit more. I may go the SEO route with adsense. The niche site is a dating website. It has clickbank in it too. I was told that adsense + clickbank isn't a good idea; however, I tried it anyway.

Sounds like your niche doesn't got high paid price, but you need to provide more infomation. Actually 52 unique views got 5 clicks and $0.88 that's a good start, try to spend more time on the website and give it a month or two to check.

Don't give up on adsense all what you need to do is to have patience and add more value to your site but putting more content and getting backlinks.

Just get more traffic before you can really decide if the site is worth working on. You need to have some solid statistics before you can tell if a site is a winner or not.

It depends upon which niche you are in. if its competitive then its not worth spending money and time on. if its easier to rank, you should go for it.
