Get The Most From Your BMR Content

I just wrote 10 BMR posts for one of my sites today, and I had a thought. That thought goes like this...

"I just wrote almost 2,000 words that are NOT going on MY website."

Now I generally write pretty decent BMR posts, in fact I could easily have used those 2,000 words to put 3-4 good informative articles on my site. I started to get a little frustrated with myself and then I realized something...

I actually have 10 great ideas for 10 articles, and they're already 1/3 of the way written. All I need to do is rewrite the BMR posts, add to them a little and there you go. Ready made content.

And then something else dawned on me... I have hundreds of these BMR posts across multiple sites. Why not gather them all up and use them as a basis to rewrite and get some more content on my site.

Anyway, maybe everyone else is already doing this, but it just dawned on me so I figured I'd pass it along.

Cheers!

  • Hey there,

Sure the idea makes sense. In fact, the BMR posts that I write are often inspired by the last awesome post I wrote. Just write a phenomenal post on your site and then break it down for BMR.

    • That's the flip side to this, which I don't do right now either. It's funny how something so obvious and I don't do it.
