Out of curiosity how many articles have you written (had written) for your site up until this point?

Those were probably invalid clicks. If you get too many of those, they close your account. nothing you can do about it, unfortunately Just hope it does not continue

That is a little bit alarmist in my opinion. Google claim they use both automated and manual methods to check for invalid clicks and they keep their methods very close to their chest. You would have to be doing something that breaks the Adsense TOS to get your account terminated. They do have sole discretion about this so it it is out of your control but so long as you as the webmaster are not doing anything to contribute to the invalid clicks you should be fine. If you do have concerns you are better of contacting google about it. |

I'm not Steve, obviously But I'll tell you how I know my own rankings. I signed up to google webmaster tools at Google Webmaster Central (you can sign in with your adsense details) add your site to the tools there, verify it by adding a meta tag to the header then click the 'verify site' button, the page will confirm that the site is verified. Then you wait a week or so and go back, click the sites URL in the dashboard. Then in the left panel click 'statistics' then 'top search queries' which will take you to a page that tells you the top 20 search queries that your site appears in... and what number they appear at.... just to reassure you too, if a keyword doesn't appear in this list it doesn't mean you're not ranking for it. Not sure if this is what Steve uses because I'm certain the blog is ranking higher for a lot of other keyphrases so I'd like to hear his answer also.

I do check my webmaster tools stats to see which keywords are getting indexed and ranked but also for checking any errors that googlebot may find. However for my main keywords I set my google preferences for 100 and then search for my target keyword phrase. I then press CTRL + F (in firefox) and enter my domain name to see if it appears in top 100. I will check down to position 500 or so just to see if google are actually indexing my site for that keyword. I also have SEO Elite but I strongly recommend that you never use the Project 5 (search for indexed keywords) for more than a couple of keywords and not very often. I used to use it all the time for checking my sites until one day I used it for a period of an hour checking just 1 site that was well indexed and ranked. Imediately after that my site got completely deindexed in google and has never been back since. Part of google's webmaster quality guidelines states that you shouldn't use automated tools to check web positions and that is why my site got deindexed. This was confirmed by google after I appealed.

I just used this method to search for a brand new site I have created and found that I am ranked at 76 for the keyword 'blog posting software' and ranked 52 for 'automated blog posting software'. Not bad for a site that's only a few days old. I haven't even had chance to do any backlinking yet.

Steve, 1) SEO elite: you should use time delay feature. I set minimum 3 secs. So it mimics natural query and your IP won't get banned. 2) I saw yours and askloz going back and forth on revealing adsense earnings: Askloz is right. You can reveal earnings even for one site. Look at this site: How to Make Money Online for Beginners: Making Money Online Anonymously - Just look 2 paragraphs above screen shot. He clearly mentions, the report was for that blog NOT whole account. JUST ONE SITE. Don't ask me , that blog may be the only site that account has. He has more than 250 sites. 3) someone asked for wordpress plugin to remove dates: WordPress › Date Exclusion SEO WordPress Plugins Peace. |

Hi Steve, Are you reaching your goal? Or getting close? It seems too much of a challenge. Can you expand on #7? (7. Promote my blog properly) I don't want you to divulge your secrets, but give something out of ordinary... That's all here that counts! Gian |

Gian, Have you read all of this thread plus Steve's excellent blog? Your questions sound like you haven't. What's been really good about this thread is that several other people who are 'walking the walk' have posted excellent contributions. It's a long thread but much better use of your time than reading some of those ridiculous threads about Clickbank on the main forum ;-) Pearson |

Just to let everybody know Im following Steves advice to the letter. I think it will take me a lot longer than steve as I am relatively inexperienced. I will update on my progress and I think it would be good if others did that were following Steve. Steve has taken us by the hand and spoon fed us so we have no excuse it works with a bit of hard work and dedication. By the way I know this has been mentioned on another threat but for those that have not seen it Googles new "Search based keyword tool" it will find the hot niches for you. Its amazing try it. |

Hi Steve, Been following this post since the beginning and I also did almost the same thing you have suggested (in my case, I make my own content.. since I cant afford to hire some ghost writer). Anyway, my question is: * I had some keywords indexed rank 9 and some rank 4th - how and what to do I need to do to make it #1 or #2... (I have done social bookmarking manually and yes, its very time consuming - i dont have the bookmarking deamon) anyone can answer this please. A detailed explaination is much appreciated, there are a lot of newbies here. thank you! |

Bear in mind though you are not entitled to a number 1 spot and there are no guarantees, also if you do rank number 1 or 4 or 9 as soon as you get this position you could loose it. Personally I would concentrate on a top 10 position and from there build upon the SEO.

Rather than concentrate on getting to number 1 spot try and aim for a more modest top 5. Some studies have shown that the human eye tends to focus almost immediately around the position 3 mark on google's listings. It is therefore more important to get your site listed "above the fold". I have covered some good techniques on my 100 buck challenge blog if you want to look. My bootcamp when it opens will also involve some intensive promotion techniques and schedules.

Hi Steve, What will be the main difference between the cash cow and your membership/bootcamp site, Im guessing the membership site will be more intense. I know you have asked for feedback on the blog but one thing that I would like to see is video lessons as I find it more engaging and easier to follow. Also will you be teaching other monetization techniques such as clickbank, ebay, and amazon etc either standalone or incorporated into an adsense site and finally will it be a re-occuring membership. Thanks Dave |

The bootcamp/membership is going to be about actually getting members into taking some real action to reach their own personal income goals from Adsense (which will have to be realistic).. There will be no trying to keep people as members for months on end although I hope the benefits of remaining a member will be clear for everyone. The point I am making is that unlike other membership programs it isn't about keeping people hanging on for some distant promise of things to come. It will be about keeping members motivated and moving their online businesses forward. I am currently working on all the reading materials, videos, structure and PLR stuff.. The cash cow guide to adsense wealth gives it's readers the information needed to finding a good adsense niche, optimising a wordpress blog, integrating adsense and promoting the blog plus maintenance of the blog..

Thank you Steve for this wonderful post you have made. Yes, I will do follow up your thread so that I will know if your $100 a day in 1 blog really works. If it works I will surely follow on what you are doing. And the more important in making a blog or a website is content that is very approachable and understandable by the readers. It must be convincing or should I say very eye catching information for the visitors or the readers.

This is my first post on this forum, but I've been following Steve for a few weeks. This is an unsolicited testimonial! I purchased the Cash Cow Guide to AdSense Wealth, but I didn't receive the download link. I wrote to Steve but, I later learned, my email account was bouncing his messages to me back to him. Steve could have given up, but he took the time to find a work-around. He located me on this forum, sent me a PM to make sure I was the same person, and gave me the download link in a PM. He has since given me the link to my free template in the same manner. (Hint: Don't ask for the free template until AFTER you've read the beginning of the Guide. I love what Steve created for me, but I've now decided to go in an entirely different direction!) I'm slowly but surely working my way through the Guide now and will start at the beginner level in his marketing club when it starts. I am a total newbie to AdSense and Internet marketing in general, and I am finding the Guide an enormous help in understanding the world of WordPress and AdSense. I never heard of Steve Crooks until I found this thread after being sent to this forum by another Internet marketer (his loss!) Through his posts here, his blog, and his interactions with me, I believe Steve to be a man of solid character and great integrity. Thank you, Steve! Diane Merkel |

Quick question for anyone adsense savvy really. What is the best way to track each individual ad block? Add a separate channel for each one?

Steve, do you have any plans to extend the duration of this test? It would be good to see actually how long it does take you to reach a hundred dollars a day. Unless of course you're sick and tired of this website and want to work on something new! |

Hi I have been following this thread and practising it myself, i never wanted to let everyone know about it till i find some result Of course there were certain deviations depending on my assimilation, whether they were right or wrong will come to know only after few more months I selected a pretty competitive niche in health category The competition there is around 3,030,000 in google With all the detailed step by step instructions i have reached as on yesterday 11 th position in serps and getting cool cliks giving me a daily income of around 15-20$ I am working on pushing the serps and i am quite sure at the top 3 i should be able to rake in 50+$ in a month and aim for other related keywords so that i can touch that mark For reaching within the first 3 spots in google i assume it will take me another 2-4 weeks Certain mistakes/deviations i did while building the site #I registered a domain name without the keywords in it, that is i took a name with my business name, i feel that has cost me a lot #I added around 80 articles targeting my primary keywords-feel could have targeted more keywords #I did not bother adding any fresh articles for Jan and Feb-only in the month of Mar i created a blog as a subfolder in the main domain and started adding the articles, added 3 fresh articles and suddenly i found a certain kind of kick in serps Will keep you guys updated on this in the coming weeks Thanks Steve for giving me the courage --Dont go by my post count, i am active member in other forums (check the username at DP), but i generally dont post much though reads a lot-- |

Thats just brilliant! You are right to try things your own way even if they do end up being mistakes. It's great to have a step by step blueprint to work to but to be really successful it is important to try out your own ideas and follow your own gut instincts. I applaude what you are doing and achieving here.

Hi quick question from me again steve ! When will we get to see the travel site ? Also I have been implementing Steves advice and boy have I found a niche in the travel industry nothing to do with Europe or cruises. One keyword has 50,000 -60,000 searches a month and the competition 30,000 competing pages Yes I nearly fell off my chair and had to check and double check again but it was all real. The majority of the keywords have searches between 2,000 - 4,000 with competing pages of 4,000 40,000. It seems that while everybody is jumping on the "make money" and "lose weight" bandwagon. Other niches our going completely untapped and are begging for an affiliate marketer. I will update my progress |
