I don't know about the WSO's but if you are willing to spend money then just get yourself a freelance writer and give them the job for writing all your articles.

Let's just say this is a practical implementation of most of the stuff in the guide. Obviously I go into much more detail on certain aspects in the guide. I will also probably use the experience gained from this thread to make ammendments and improve the guide. Which will be free to anyone who has purchased it already.

very interesting,

i seem to only make about $6.00 a day max from one web site. I have never been able to get more than 200 uniques a day from my best web site.

Would you say that wordpress is the way to go now for adsense. Should i convert my static web sites to wordpress ??

As the old saying goes, it's all about how much of the internet you own. More good content = More income.

Wordpress is a great platform simply because google loves indexing WP blogs.

Steve, another question.

How do you find a good freelance writer? I have heard horror stories of people that English isn't their first language and the articles aren't good. Others say that if the writer really isn't' into the topic they aren't as good. So tell us how to find good freelance writers and how much should we be paying.

Thanks!

Re: Follow me to $100 a day in Adsense in 3 months from 1 blog

It's trial and error really I am afraid unless you can find a good recommendation from someone you trust. The usual places like guru.com, elance.com, odesk.com. There is a huge amount of info here at warrior for good freelance resources.

To minimize the risks of getting some poorly written articles,
1. start with a small project of about 10 articles.
2. Insist on seeing some examples of their work.
3. Insist that they must be written in good English.
4. Try and get someone who has an interest in the subject if possible.

For a good writer you can pay about $10 but I have used good freelancers before that cost $5 per article. A good writer will research their subject well, but of course there is no substitute for a freelancer who has an interest in the subject. It is however quite difficult to find somebody that fits all these criteria perfectly but when you do, treat them well and pay them well because they are worth their weight in gold.

Hi Steve. Excellent, well thought out plan and pretty much exactly what I'm doing together with a friend.

I know that the info you give is absolutely correct as I have undertaken a lot of research and came to the same conclusions and principles as you did.

Unlike yourself I am intending to build both high quality and somewhat lower quality ( less quality, more quantity ) sites at the same time. I want to see how both fare.

I was interested in your mention of Google warnings. I didn't think they warned you but rather just shut you down without recourse.

I joined FirePow 1 month ago after watching its development for a year. I love it and am in the process of attaching 70 blogs to 70 existing sites.

One big dissapointment however has been their slowness to update to Wordpress 2.7 in Firepow. I intend to continue my membership if they address that quickly because the membership looks to be excellent value.

No doubt Andrew frequents this forum , as does Colleen who is doing decidely well using the software, so I hope they see this post and agitate for speedineess in upgrading Wordpress 2.7 in Firepow

Apart from that one issue ( its a biggie with my situation ) I heartily recommend FirePow and also add weight to everything you have suggested to do in earning via blogs

The Progress Blog Is Live

As promised the blog that I am going to use to chart the progress of this challenge is now live so you go and take a look, the url is in my signature..

I will post some updates here at warrior but all the meat and screenshots etc will be posted to my progress blog. The blog is called the 100buckschallenge and initially will concentrate on this particular adsense challenge but I aim to broaden it out to other challenges in the future.

As for progress to my European cruise blog, this will also go live hopefully today. I am just waiting on some articles to be returned from my ghostwriter and then it really is, all systems go! :)

Steve, I have received 4 warning letters from Adense myself concerning the use of MFA sites. I am not sure how to respond. My problem is that I have hundreds of sites like these and it is impossible for me to pull them all down.

I wonder if you can tell me when did you receive your warnings, and when did you pull down your sites.

Re: Follow me to $100 a day in Adsense in 3 months from 1 blog

Hi Derek,

It was a few years ago now and just took the decision that because I didn't know what was on any of the hundreds of sites I owned at the time, I literally deleted all my domain accounts of my server immediately after. It was drastic and my income went to zero overnight but it was my way of saving the goose rather than a few golden eggs.

It has to be a personal decision and was probably a bit drastic in hindsight. I could have taken the time to go through every page on every site and check them out. I would suggest you take the time to do the same. Go through every site you own and try and weed out the pages that don't fit with google's TOS. It's a big job but necessary one.

They will if you link up your feedburner account with your adsense account. Then create some content for your rss feed, and bingo, feed with adsense in it... best part, they get sent out via email too. :)

Re: Follow me to $100 a day in Adsense in 3 months from 1 blog

Permalink means permanent link, with sites that are created as static HTML every page has it's very own URL that never changes. However with dynamic content like blogs the posts can move from the front page to the archives. A permalink will give each blog entry/post a permanent link.

Unfortunately the default permalink structure when you setup a blog is ugly and very SEO unfriendly. They usually have the structure like http ://yourblog.com/?p=N]. Thankfully with wordpress you have the ability to change the permalink structure to make it more search engine friendly. You can change it so that it reads something like http ://yourblog.com/ category/post. The search engines like this structure much better.

Write a post, hit publish and WordPress automatically pings http://rpc.pingomatic.com/ on your behalf.

In addition to pinomatic what services, if any, will you be using.

Stephen Crooks 8th January 2009 06:26 PM

Re: Follow me to $100 a day in Adsense in 3 months from 1 blog

Pingomatic covers it for me as I don't see any advantage in using others. In fact there is the danger of getting your site blacklisted for over pinging.

Hi Steve, Thanks for this great post. I am relatively new to wordpress and have a question about pings. In version 2.6.2 when you load up fifty articles using the future post time stamp, are the pings sent out at the time the posts are loaded up and published or are they pinged when the post is actually posted to your site at some future date?

I have been reading about wordpress pinging a post at the time it is published regardless of the date but the information seems to be a year or two old.

Thanks,
Peter

Stephen Crooks 9th January 2009 03:31 AM

Re: Follow me to $100 a day in Adsense in 3 months from 1 blog

There were some unconfirmed reports that previous to 2.6, wordpress didn't ping future posts properly but there is no proof of that as far as I have seen. As far as I am aware wordpress handles all ping updates when the future posts are published perfectly.

I recieved an email today from somebody who purchased my "cash cow guide to adsense wealth". He wanted me to show him how it is possible to make a $100 a day from adsense from just 1 blog. Not one to shirk away from a challenge, I have decided to show everyone exactly how I will:

1. Take a brand new wordpress blog on a brand new domain
2. Locate a good adsense niche.
3. Conduct some keyword research for my blog theme, article titles and keywords.
4. Find a good WP theme
5. Create some good content for the blog.
6. Make sure my on site SEO is good.
7. Promote my blog properly.
8. Maintain the blog, testing and tracking.

My goal is to have this blog earning at least $100 per day in adsense income in just 3 months time! I want to do this to prove that you do not have to spew up hundreds of rubbish "Made For Adsense" (MFA) sites to make money from adsense. I want to prove that you can do it with a potent mix of:

1. Quality content
2. Some basic on site and off site SEO
3. ACTION!

So, I predict by March 31st 2009 I will be earning $100 per day from this blog.

I will:

1. Endeavour to update this thread every few days with what I am doing or have done to the blog.
2. Any income reports.
3. Use screenshots where possible for proof.
4. Show the niche I am targeting.
5. Answer any questions people may have.
6. Be investing a small amount of money in content creation.

I will not:

1. Reveal the domain name. (It could seriously skew the results if I did)
2. Lie about the income, if the blog flops I will show you (I am confident it won't however).
3. Desert this thread half way through.

My next post will demonstrate the process I go through to find a good niche.

Yeah, Steve got me all fired up too. I'm starting an insurance blog. I've already purchased the domain insurance-blogging.com. I couldn't get insurance-blogger because it was already taken by someone in the Netherlands who hasn't put a site on it but it expires in march so I think I'll keep an eye out to see if it expires completely and if it does I'll snap it up and put a redirect on it. There is nothing on my page yet because I'm busy working on a higher priority... transferring a static html site to wordpress and fixing up keywords in the process. Still, no great rush... Rome wasn't built in a day as they say.

Re: Follow me to $100 a day in Adsense in 3 months from 1 blog

Two quick questions Steve.

First is to do with aftercare. You are posting an initial 60 articles and you hope to reach your target from these posts. We'll assume you've reached it (congratulations :) ) Do you intend to post to this blog in the future and if so how often. Or will you just let the 60 articles sit there and earn their keep.

Second question is to do with presentation. Think of a cruise and well all sorts of images appear in your mind: the cruise ship set against a clear blue sky; sipping afternoon drinks with a beautiful blonde! Exploring ancient stone villages and their narrow streets, palm trees on a lonely golden beach.... The question really is though will you be using images within your blog and if so will they be a prominent part of it e.g. will you have at least one image on each page

Re: Follow me to $100 a day in Adsense in 3 months from 1 blog

Hi Kevin,

Good questions..

1. Yes, I will be adding to it after the 3 months, not at such a relentless pace just every week or so. While on the subject I think I will need more than 60 articles to reach my goal but I will assess that when the traffic starts rolling in.

2. Presentation is important and images will certainly play a large part in that possibly along with some videos as well.

Your adsense income will always fluctuate as your pages move up and down the indexes. The point is to look at your average earnings over a period of a month or so.

Mr Steve,
in your opinion what will be the minimum number of articles a blog would need? I understand that most people will try to have multiple blogs for additional traffic but what is the advise number of articles that we need in order to have a fair amount of chance to make a decent sum of money off our blog.

Thanks
