Internal Linking Question

My websites are built with Dreamweaver and I try to do a lot of interlinking between pages. If I have 50 pages, I try to put the appropriate anchor text at least once on each page linking back to the homepage. I've been using relative linking, but is there an seo advantage if I use the whole url when linking my anchor text back to the homepage?

    Hi Carl,

It doesn't seem to matter, I have used nothing but relative linking on hundreds of websites that all rank very well. Search engines have no problem with relative URLs.

Thanks. I was thinking I heard that before, but I was worried that maybe google had to see the actual url before it counted because others say www . domain . com domain.com and www. domain . com/ are counted differently

I have always been told to pick one way and then keep it the same through out and all will work out. But don't switch back and forth.

Yes, inter linking is Good but don’t forget to build some back link of those pages/url which you give link back to your main page
