Well, not sure if it's wise to do self-promotion.

I would only beg to differ on the toolbar PageRank.
    You call it:
"the most prominent key factor that we can use to determine the value of a backlink from a page."

I personally value authority and relevance light years above the toolbar
    PageRank, that's for sure.

"Authority," I assume, is why you added the links in your post Not PR.

I've never even heard the myth of the noarchive tag.
Granted, I've haven't heard of a lot of things. But to call
it one of the biggest and top 3rd myth in SEO would be quite
    a stretch.

I don't digg stuff anymore. Digg has out lived its usefulness.
The link would probably be nofollow on digg anyway. In fact,
that would even be something to look at for the value of a backlink
on a page. Whether it was nofollow or not. That would certainly
trump PR, unless the site have boatloads of authority.

By authority you are referring to real authority I take it, as opposed to domain authority? In terms of SEO I'm not sure how else authority would established other than through links.

Pagerank is useless IMO, google itself has stopped updating it, when a developer loses interest in it, i really doubt search bots use that data to any extent while ranking, though i consider to an extent it might be a factor, that is it, nothing to sweat about

Well that's nice to know, however your opinion and reality greatly differentiate. I take it you run no money sites?

Google not updating the PR often has nothing whatsoever to do with whether we can use it as an indication of major value. Your opinion is the exact one that sends this sort of misinformation to everyone here.
