    Market Samurai when it works. I'm a Mac User and Im getting sick of Market Samurai's ability to no work when I really get motivated to do in depth keyword research. Seems to always be something wrong with their software. Put tickets in and get a response that says we are aware there is a problem and we are working on it... I want someone to build a keyword research tool for mac!

    I use Market Samurai. No it's not free, but it has a once off cost, and is without a doubt the best bit of software I have bought. It is a lot more than just a keyword tool if you know how to use it.

    Agree, Google AdWords Keyword Tool is the best one. BTW, Google Analytics can be also used as a source of keyword ideas (only if you've already used it for some time to analyze the performance of your website). You can see what keywords in particular bring visitors to your website and make sure you don't miss any keyword opportunities.

    I also use Market Samuari and when it works its fantastic - it really does take the hard work out of finding keywords, its been a bit hit and miss of late but I think that's down to Google and many of the other tools will be suffering from the same problems.

    I have been using for quite some time semrush, it gives me many words, accurate and related queries are measured in hundreds. Unfortunately it is not very cheap - 70$ a month, but it's worth it, and it still cheaper then counterparts. Try the free version - look, maybe you'll like it.

    Google Analytics actually tells you the Long-tail keyword people searched to reach your site. That is, if you have a content-rich site though. When I started, I've been pleasantly surprised that many of my buyers are actually from longtail keywords, and thus I moved on to strengthen my SERPs for those keywords. In the end, more targetted traffic = more profits)

    Try Rank Tracker (there's a free version). It's integrated with Google Adwords Keyword tool, SEMrush, Wordtracker, puts together word combinations out of the words you feed it, misspellings, etc. etc. Highly recommend!
