How to Produce .EDU and .Gov Backlinks?

No idea where to start to produce .EDU or .Gov backlinks for SEO. How have some of you been able to get your links into these websites? Where could I go to find a list of such websites? Any. Gov or .EDU forums out there?

    You nailed the "how". Most people do it by finding community based sites with those extensions that allow back-links... Then they post their link with some kind of relevent content. I just got my first EDU backlink this way a couple of days ago.. It helps BIG TIME!

    My niche is tiny and I am guessing that's why the 1 link was so effective. Anyway... I can send you the address to the edu forum... I think I have a list of some edu and govs too.... maybe....
