Desperately need help with inserting Bookmarking Demon 5 Proxies

Hi, bought the program - very effective, very impressive. Now need to up the auntie and bookmark more of my sites every day. Have been sitting here for 7 hours attempting to insert proxy address's into connection section. I'm going to use free proxies to begin with ( please don't give me any hassle about that ) but I am having no luck. Same message every time about being unable to connect. Scoured google all day for an answer and no one has one, beginning to think there's nobody out there with a simple 'type it in like this' answer. If anyone could eventually help I will be very, very, grateful. Cheers in advance.

Maybe the proxies are down? Public proxies go down really fast...

I use free proxies exclusively, so I won't give you a hassle about that. Glad you got your problem solved. I have noticed that when I get that message from Bookmarking Demon, it is best to delete everything in the connections tab, hit apply, shut down the Demon, and restart it. Then it will allow me to add a new list. BMD can be very persnickety at times.
