What to do with 'dormant' domain / site

I have lots of domains parked. Need to find time to develop them. This question is about a perfect match keyword domain that I set up for Wordpress. I got it working, made a brief, somewhat silly post to myself about Wordpress, just a couple of paragraphs. Didn't intend to leave it like that, intended to develop the site. Got busy, never did it. It's been "live" like that for a year or so.

So, my WP main page has this stupid post. I have read that you need to, at least, get a new domain up and running even if you are not going to develop it so it gains age. My site has a year or so of age with a stupid first page. Should I just whack out the nonsense and build a 'real' first page and then start building it? Again, a perfect match keyword .org site for my niche. I would add it to my 'linkwheel' network. (Which many people say won't work but which has worked to get me good SERPs!)

Turn it into a "mini-site" and use it for links to your money site. Then you can control the links. There might be issues with hosting and ip's though.

The domain is good enough (perfect match on an important keyword phrase) that I might want to do more than just use it as a link source. I might want to develop it so that it gets good SERP for that keyword, at least.

I just need to know what to do AT THIS MOMENT. Whack out all of the first page, since it's nonsensical and build a 'real' first page related to the keyword phrase, as you would normally do when building any page?

Well if you are bored or have some spare time then build a proper first page. Can't hurt can it

Outsource two articles and put Adsense on it. Then build a couple of backlinks or outsource them too .... See if it can get ranked highly and if it does, should make you some money

Thanks but I never use adsense, I make money from my normal business. Plus, I don't want to run ads for competitors! I am not an internet marketer. I just SEO for a regular business.

Anyone... the site is using WP. Should I *delete* the nonsense first (and only) page/post and build a new one or edit the existing one?
