Article Spinning Software vs Manual Spinning

I am on a trial for the The Best Spinner through my killer content program. It's not the entire best spinner but a remote shell that basically lets you try out the best spinners "spin the most common words" or "spin the entire article" features like 25 times.

If I spin the most common words or spin the entire article, the results are far from making any sense in a human readable world.

It actually takes me way longer to try to sort out the spun results into something legible than it does to just rewrite it manually (because that is basically what I end up doing to the illegible spun articles anyways).

What does everyone else do? Do some of you actually submit these spun articles as is? If so you might want to read through some of them and see how bad they really are.

  • Hi Jim,

The Best Spinner is a decent tool, but I would never use the random spinning feature. Software programs aren't yet capable of rewriting as well as a human.

The best method I have found is to manually rewrite each sentence, several times, then spin at the sentence level. If you carefully choose synonyms you can add some more diversity into your spun content by spinning carefully selected synonyms.

Sure, it takes at least as much time as just manually rewriting your article several times because that is exactly what you are doing. The benefit is that with only a few manually rewrites, spun at the sentence level, you can generate a much greater number of unique, well written articles.
  • The best spinner is best when used with programs like senukex. If you want readable articles you should try the free version of spinnerchief.com

Its what I use when i need to spin articles and make them readable.
  • I think the best is the Manual Spinning , a software is limited, but the human mind isn't.
  • Yea I have found that if you actually are planning on having people read your article there will always be an element of manual involvement needed. The best spinner works very well, but if I want someone to read my article I spin it using the best spinner still, but doing it manually hand picking the synonyms. This is still a lot quicker than doing it completely manually.

Check out the content professor for a free version of some spinning software. It's pretty good.
  • Manual...definitely. I have never seen an automated spinner that doesn't end up wasting more of your time than it saves you. Manual done correctly, now that's another story.

    See here.

  • Manual is definitely the way to go if you want to make your article readable to visitors
  • I do both, I manually spin the paragraphs 3 times. I then use the best spinner to spin words and sentences. This gives me the best of both worlds. Take a bit longer, but I get really high unique articles as they are deeply spun.

    • I always used to be a fan of the manual spin... but I'm stoked with the new version of SpinChimp we have due out in a few days. We've implemented a pretty cool feature that achieves the closest to 100% readable that we've seen. </shameless plug>

My preference is dependent on what the articles are going to be used for. For blogs and higher PR article directories where it is likely that the content will be read, I would do an auto spin, then sanity check it to remove any synonyms I don't like, and of course add some new ones. Other than that, it's auto all the way.
  • Use The Best Spinners "Replace Everyone's Favorites" feature and then set the quality to "Best" will replace all the common synonyms and do about half the work for you right then and there.

If you spin a lot of articles then that's a big time saver.
  • Selecting a word in my article then hitting Ctrl+F7 in openoffice or right click and select synonyms, that all I need.
  • Or if you got a bit of cash, you can get someone else to do it for you and also return it in spuntax format
