Do article spinners save time?

I am now doing the trial for The Best Spinner (didn't know there was an affiliate thingy or I could given one of you a commission!), and hmmm... not sure about this. It seems like very cool software, but heck, I think I could write a totally new article from scratch faster than what I am doing with the spinner. Anyone have any comments... is it a matter of me learning how to use it better or what?

Or is it that you can carefully take your time to go through the article and with several replacements and end up getting a BUNCH of articles out of that?

The idea is if you spend enough time on the spintax you are going to be able to spin your article 50+ times getting still a high %age of unique content on each spin. That is most certainly more efficient than writing 50 articles.

If you're using it to spin an article once then yes you're probably wasting your time.

    Hi Bill,

It only saves time if you are spinning a significant quantity of new articles from the seed article.

For example, if you manually rewrite each sentence several times, and then spin those sentences within that article, and throw in some carefully selected synonym spins, you can produce a hundred well written articles from just 3 rewrites.

The key is to manually rewrite your sentences, and to carefully select synonym replacements. It requires a human author and a human editor to produce quality results.

Indeed, if done correctly, TBS can be extremely powerful in terms of generating many different readable articles.

  • Yea they do save you time. If you're looking for top quality content, you will need to spin it manually to get rid of all grammar errors, but even doing that is much quicker than not using spinning software.

I agree with you and Id rather go for the top quality content and do it manually to avoid mistakes.

I use spinners on some of my non-authoritative content. The one-off stuff I prefer to write myself and don't spin anyway. But if you've got a good spinner, reasonably good content, and you are careful about checking grammar and readability AFTER you spin a few tests, then spinners can help for more general link bait or content syndication.

Some people hate them, and you'll hear them squawk a LOT. I see them as a tool, that if used right can be helpful sometimes.

Just make sure to learn it and use it carefully so you don't get junk out the back. The key as others have said is "semi-automated."

I have been using TBS for more than a year now, but I don't use it every time I need to re-write (spin) something.

If I need to re-write an article using existing online content or PLR and I want the resulting article to be 100% unique, I don't use it.

I tried several times, but I found that it takes me longer to make the necessary changes to make it unique after spinning, than when I re-write it without spinning.

I do use it if I have an unique article and I want to spin it into dozens of other articles. It is true that it takes sometime to go through the span words to make sure that they make sense in the context of the sentence or paragraph.

But once this is done, I can get almost as many articles as I want in virtually no time and the resulting articles are usually anywhere between a few percent to as much as 30% or more unique. And the best part is that they all seem to be well written articles.

ONLY if you know EXACTLY what you are doing. If you don't you will waste ALL of your time.

I have a couple of article directories and I actually accept spun content. I have no problem with it, if it is done well.

Spinning an article is not really about creating one or two other versions, it's about creating thousands of unique versions (if you spin it correctly).

If you just want one new article, you are much better just rewriting it from scratch.

Keep in mind that a lot of automated tools like Article Marketing Robot use the spintax formatted article to submit thousands of unique copies of your article.

I would say that they could increase time!

In the time it takes to do a good job of spinning an article, you could have written 4 unqiue articles and put them on your blog/blasted them out using your sumbission software etc.

Just send out the article as it is without spinning and they will still get indexed and you will get the backlinks.

It is not duplicate content unless it is on the same website. So unless you are planning on posting spun versions of an allarticle to your own site or all to the same aritcle directory, you should be ok using the article as it is on multiple directories without spinning.

Presuming the article is uniquely written that is. If it is PLR then don't submit it as it is. Just manually rewrite it in your own words. That will be quicker than spinning it I reckon.

      Hi adamj2,

Yes, but now you have 100+ unique articles in the same time it took to write 4. How is that not saving time?

Yes, they do get indexed, however all but one will be filtered from the SERP. So, instead of dominating the search results, you have only one listing, what a waste.

I agree with "If done correctly"! Keep in mind that the authoritative Article marketing publishing sites review each article that are published individually and they actually read them, so if your content isn't spun appropriately, it will be denied. But like I say, if you become a pro with the spinning aspect, then you can literally get it all working smoothly.

Yeah, if done correctly. I also agree that you can save time in spinning some articles than writing a new one. Though manually written articles still have good quality in many ways.

Yup. Think of it as an investment, you invest your time making sure the correct use of syntax, synonyms and grammar and by the end of the day you'll have a whole bunch of "unique" spun article on your hands.

Definitely worth it in the long run.

No, the use of a tool to increase the productivity of a writer is not a black hat SEO method. However, using one line forum posts that don't add anything to a thread, to spam a forum with your signature links, now that could considered a black hat SEO method. Right?

Spinners are HUGE timesavers. But if you want to do it right, you have to go through the article carefully and make sure it still reads like quality content. Otherwise you will be distributing junk that will not be well received. And Google seems to be increasingly savvy to robot-written text.

I use Magic Article Rewriter, but only because I bought it before learning about The Best Spinner. Most people seem to prefer TBS, but many still like MAR better. I find MAR works just fine for me.

I would STRONGLY suggest, if you are going to be doing article marketing for real, that you look into and, if you can afford it, invest in Article Marketing Robot (which UMS also mentioned). It is awesome - much better than other auto submitters (like MAR's sister program, Magic Article Submitter). And as UMS said, depending on niche and keywords, you can get well over 1000 submissions automatically.

    Good luck!

Spinning article can certainly saves you time because it can take like 1 to 2 hours to spin an article which can gives you a total of hundred version or even thousand version. But, the problem with spinning article is that it may not be as effective as it once was prior to the recent Google panda update. Spinning article may be a waste your time because the links you get from those articles tend to be not high-quality.

The best thing you should do is to rewrite them as many time as you want so that they can be 100% unique, even though it would be very time consuming. But, the result would pay off instead of producing hundreds or even thousands of articles that may give you back-links that don't have any weight as far as search engine optimization is concerned.

Spinners can be good as long as you have spins that make sense. You need to find the perfect algorithm for what you are doing.

It depends on how you use it.if you manually change some sentences in article and then use article spinner then you can make several unique article if it is done correctly by choosing right synonyms.

my personal opinion is that the article spinner doesnt save you really time, i tried 2 o 3 of them this days you target all the words that you wish use a synonimus for then you have to choose a synonimus for each word and that makes sense with the synonimus of the other words, you know is not sometime cool that you say hey these are the keywords ,talk about this and that and make a beautiful aticle is not like this ,you know what i find really useful? go to the articles that are PLR sometime you find them at a very low price i bought today 15 excellent articles for 7 bucks you read a sentence and retype it it takes less than the article spinners it would be nice to have a program that was like a blender you put the words there and then pouuf an article is ready in 20 seconds we are not still at that level at least for what i know about spinners i tried 4 the last 48 hours

If you think about it carefully, you will not save time in article spinning. Why? because after you spin that particular article, you still have to fix it for some grammar errors and sentence construction.
