#search engine optimization #cclass #cheapest #hosting
  • check out seohosting.com its a hostgator company. in my opinion its the best class c hosting
    • [1] reply
    • It seems too costly . Anybody else please .
    • [1] reply
    • Try hostnine.com or webhostingplex.com - Hostnine is the cheaper of the two.

Stay clear of seo-host.com. I recently had to transfer 30+ sites away from them due to persistent downtime.
      • [2] replies
  • I use indianets $2 per ip up to 300 unique ip's
  • I've been using these guys.

$1 an ip, hard to beat.

    • Hey,

I notice these guys dont have an 800 number to contact?
    • Are you happy with them?
  • i useing c class ips hosting from this websites its good hosting compnay kvcwebsitehosting.com
  • for the multiple ip hosting mentioned above, any of them have private name server?
  • SEOHosting is the best but will cost the most.

Depending on what you are trying to achieve you may be better off getting separate shared hosting accounts from different companies.

Since the recent lockdown of IPs by ARIN, its getting tougher to get separate IPs.
  • Hi guys sorry to dig this thread up again but I'm in a similar position. I have been using cclassiphosting.com I went with them because they were cheap but I have been waiting for 3 days to upgrade my account, their system is a bit of a pain and the accounts don't automatically backup. I'm pretty close to going elsewhere but I'm not sure where to go. seohosting.com are $5 per C Class, cclassiphost.com are $1 so there is a huge difference. I would be happy to pay a bit more - especially if the provider offered cPanel which I really like but not 5 times as much. Any suggestions? Perhaps with some context i.e. you have been using them for x years, and tried a few others first etc. I know it's hard finding good hosting providers, I've been burnt countless times.

    • From what I think you're trying to do you'll need to find a company that offers unique c-class hosting. seohosting.com does that that's why they're more expensive. Has to do with the 3rd block of numbers. Hosting companies buy their IP numbers in blocks and Google can detect that.

I've tried to sign up at skynethosting.net, but they seemed to have shut down for the labor day weekend which gave me bad vibes so I cancelled. There's a WSO that seems promising (Turnkey Internet - warrior name) that's offering a discount that I'm waiting for the nameservers to propagate. PM me if you can't find it I'm not sure about posting a link to it. Can't say I've had a track record with them though (except seohosting).
    • I am with cclasshosting too, great price I have to admit but unfortunately the sites are down VERY frequently, I mean 4 or 5 or more times a week. if you are prepared for not so good support, having to reset your blog network postings due to the downtime then go with them my plan is up for renewal, I have contacted them for a discount due to the amount of downtime and support requests - five days NO RESPONSE!!
  • Cool thanks for the reply, I have contacted a few providers and I'll see what response I get, that often gives a good idea of what they are like to deal with. I got a quick reply from indianets.com so they are leading so far! I've been waiting 2.5 days for clclassiphosting.com to upgrade my account.

    • Are you still using cclassiphosting.com? I heard some crappy reviews, but they're so darn cheap that I'm half-tempted just to give them a try.
      • [1] reply
  • I'd like to hear about your result with them too.
  • I'm sticking with C Class, for now, they finally got back to me and I couldn't be bothered changing so unless they stuff something up really badly (again) I'll stick with them for now.
    • [1] reply
  • Hey thanks for the share I'm signing up as we speak with skynet. They are having a 50% off sale on their 10 IP.
  • I'm hearing good things about Skynet. Let us know how you go with them
  • Yeah, I know what you mean about getting the welcome email signed on 10/1 just got the email today.
  • @Mike or anyone else in the know. I spoke with sales at Turnkey and was told that they don't provide a seperate NS for each IP address but that private NS were easy to setup with your registrar. I signed up and then talked with their support about how to setup private NS's and after a big run around was finally told that I would have to use two of my IPs for every NS I setup and that I shouldn't run a website on those two IPs. So in my case I bought a 10 IP SEO plan, with intentions of running 10 domains, now though they are saying I would need 30 IP addresses to run 10 domains with each having their own unique NS.

This doesn't make sense to me and I'm sure there has to be a better way to do this.

    Any advice is appreciated.
  • I was looking at C Class IP Hosting | SEO Hosting and decided to ask some questions about unique NS, location, etc.

Here's the funny part of the conversation:

    we are located in USA
    Nathan:
    where?
    TechSupport:
I am sorry but I can not give you any details
    Nathan:
I'm not asking for an address
    TechSupport:
    we are located in USA
    Nathan:
    ?
    Nathan:
you can't give me a city?
    TechSupport:
    nop

So I snoop around their website and see this on their about page. "The Server is confidentially held and based in Dearborn Michigan and corporate headquarter in KL Malaysia."

It still seem weird that they didn't want to tell me though.
  • Wow, the conversation with cclass got even weirder.

    Nathan:
do you guys move the sites?
    TechSupport:
I am sorry but we do not provide this
    Nathan:
    .
    Nathan:
ok, do you guys provide a word press installation script like fantastico?
    TechSupport:
    yes
    Nathan:
    .
    Nathan:
can you give me the name of it, or is that confidential too?
    Nathan:
    .
    TechSupport:
    I am sorry
    Nathan:
    .
    TechSupport:
We cant give you any details
    Nathan:
    .
    Nathan:
    because?

Then the techsupport quits the call. Terrible customer service I just don't understand it.
  • There was a point of time when techniques was rather basic, and were limited to a certain specialty of strategies that could be incorporated by even those who were not very initiated into the entire sphere of SEO.
  • I know aseohosting.com provides the best SEO hosting.
Their C class IP address costs only $4,75! And live chat is active.
  • not really a deal since the most I pay is about $1.39 per IP
    • [1] reply
  • Skynet has a deal going on right now for .99 an IP 10 for $9.99 and turnkey is $13.99 for 10 turnkey is in a WSO can't remember what the coupon code is.
    • [1] reply
    • Nice, thanks, I never heard of Turnkey but I'll have to check them out.
  • Yeah, I have heard a lot of bad things about cclasshosting on some of the other forums. Some real nightmare stories.

Also have heard mixed reviews about Seohosting from hostgator. Especially when it comes to SEO.

Also mixed reviews about HostNine in regards to various support issues. Although they do still seem popular.

I have a reseller account with Skynethosting and it is just OK. Periodic downtimes - but nothing real long yet. Just seems to go down for 10-20 minutes every few days. Server and account config problems occasionally. And I have had problems getting some sites ranked consistently - seems to be a trend. They are fairly inexpensive but I think will probably move those sites when I have a chance. My other reseller accounts are much more reliable although they don't provide the same type of c-class hosting.

I have heard better things about Indianet which is another cheap SEO host provider.

Also heard good things about ASEOHosting.

Just as a warning, I have been hearing more about google catching on to these SEO hosts and tracking their IPs. Especially the bigger ones like SEOHosting. Could just be hot air but something to keep in mind.

I think it is a better route to do something like HostNine where you are not getting dedicated IP's but hosting your many websites on many different IP's which are shared by all of the customers. So you are more or less hiding in the tall weeds.

Just wish there was a more reliable host providing this.
  • I have been monitoring this thread for some time and it was refreshing to hear good things about skynet, however seeing your post made me register and respond. I understand that even a small downtimes can be really frustrating to a customer, specially when it comes to SEO hosting. Under our new server reliability improvement project most the server hardware have been upgraded and the project is now 90% completed with just several servers remaining to be upgraded. It would really help if you could PM me your primary domain so I can check the accounts for you.

    Thanks in advance!

  • Host Winds has good rates. Check 'em out.
  • Hi SkyNet Hosting,

I was about to PM you, but then thought, 'If I don't understand it, then maybe some other old fool is the same as me' !! LOL So I am asking here, and I think it is a good chance to you to help teach us as it relates directly to your biz in a round about way.

As I believe it is possible for Google or anyone to track all your sites by IP address or name server it is part of my "insurance plan" to separate out my sites on different host and have my sites grouped in small lots.

I was thinking of getting about 5 different shared hosting accounts from one of the big name like Hostgator, Bluehost etc...

What is the advantages you offer to me?
Pros & Cons Please. I have some here that I would love you to explain.

Pros: I was thinking, I am limiting my exposure to sites hated by Google that could be on the same IP address with shared hosting, say someone is De-Indexed for Black Hat stuff, I run the risk of being on a watch list or high risk list. Sometimes when sites are banned by countries, they are banned by IP address, say host gator who is a large host of smut, may ban that IP and effect me in the cross fire. I feel this is not a huge issue. One advantage of shared hosting, is I may have 10 sites littered amoungst 400 sites (possibly thousands) on the same IP/nameserver, and my sites don't stand out at all if someone was looking for my other sites.

But clearly, having my own IP address, cuts out allot of unknown risk from my neighbors on the shared IP.

Now to your company, questions about your 8th birthday deal. It interest me.

    So it has 10 C-Class IP's
On my sites, the 10GB storage & 1000GB Bandwidth Transfer I seriously doubt will be a limiting factor. If I have more than 1000GB Bandwidth, I will be buying many big boxes of beer celebrating, believe me !!!!
    1 C Panel per IP
"you can create unlimited addon domains" said you company online chat rep.

How is a addon domain different to a sub domain ??? I am bit confused, (My wife says I m very confused)

Now, for the old goofs like me whos wife has a permanent subscription of Phizer blue pills delivered monthly, what does that mean?

If I have 100 sites, can I effectively have 10 groups of 10 sites on 1 IP ?
would each of the the 10 sites normally in this case have the same name server. I don't think it would gain anything having them serperate name servers, but I mean, the first group of 10 would be totally Indpendant of the next group of 10.

What is the go with 1 CP for 10 sites. I mean, is that normal like the same I deal with on Hostgator shared hosting. I can still see different stats for different sites etc? I can still have a wordpresss blog and a basic html site on the same CPanel right?

Are these really best suited for my best and shold be my most protected sites, eg 1 site per IP ?

I hope you are not shaking your head, thinking What The Hell, well I don't care if you are to be honest, clearly I am comparing getting a bunch of shared accounts at other host, or your package that with my limited knowledge looks great.

Please Reply. I just don't want to make problems for my self cutting corners.
  • learnrope,

Google may not ban sites by IP and they normally do it per domain or per site owner (WHOIS), in other words you can share a IP with spammers etc and still rank well in Google.

If all your sites are hosted on the same IP Google takes that into consideration and either discounts the links or possibly even penalizes you in cases where there are large link networks going on. The advantage in SEO Hosting is that you are able to get links from other sites you own without getting labeled as a link farm or a spammer.

For addon domains, you can check the following url, it explains everything in detail. For SEO I dont recommend addon domains as they host all sites using the same public_html directory (unlike in separate cPanel accounts), specially if the sites are targeting similar keywords and interlink.

    skynethelp.com/index.php?/Knowledgebase/Article/View/113/4/what-is-the-difference-between-add-on-domainsubdomainparked-domain/

As for the SEO Hosting basics, you need to have separate white labeled IP's, separate nameservers and separate WHOIS or white labeled WHOIS domains to start with.

  • Hi,

I just tried this company cclassiphosting (dot) com

After 1 week my account is still pending and they ignore all support tickets and emails and Paypal won't give a refund because the good were not physical goods. It's their loss as I purchased a 30 IP address package for $30 a month.

I'm now with this company at $2 an IP address and their support is excellent. www (dot) seohost (dot ) com

I apologize for the links but I'm unable to past any with my post count.

PEOPLE - STAY AWAY from cclassiphosting.
I don't even know if I can migrate to another host if the domains are down....

would a backup be enough to transfer?

    • Thats a useless crap

      Stay away from this provider

  • "seo" hosting is the biggest waste of IP addresses. There are plenty of sites using regular shared hosting that don't get penalized.
  • I have a lot of hosts in my sig that are cheap (usually around $3 a month and extra IPv4 are 1-$3 but doubt are c-class). Not sure why you even care about c-class.
    • [1] reply
    • From the little I know and have read, with c class you can get multiple address with bigger change of receiving more random numbers ( not from same block ) at a lower price.... It's not my area of expertise so I go by suggestions..
  • HI,

If you're being ripped of by cclassiphosting you can contact the abuse team of their host at - abuse (at) softlayer (dot) com
  • Seems seo hosting would be a red flag to google and easy to find especially with nameservers like ex. bestseo, awesomeseo.

    sticking with regular hosting
  • I'm thinking about trying Indianets. Has anyone used them? Are they any good?
  • seohosting gets my vote, not cheap but top service
  • SEOHosting
  • Use arvixe. Quality hosting support Unique IPS at 2 dollar a month. Never ever had a problem with them. Free private whois. Free .com domain with hosting. Awesome

  • I finally got around to ditching c class ip hosting yesterday, damn that felt good. I am a bit concerned google is targeting sites hosting by these providers anyway so I've just put my sites across a few normal shared hosting plans.
  • unfortunately I have 160 more websites. If I dont use c class host, It will be a hard work to maintain these sites with different normal hosting.....

  • try hawkhost.com (no ref)
  • classiphosting is a liar, I purchased 80 , now, all of these seo host is not working
  • SEOHosting but costly
  • Check our seohosting.com.They are not the cheapest but reliable.
    • [1] reply
    • You know aseohosting company provides quality and affordable SEO hosting and the price of their C class IP address is not high (just $4,75! per C class IP's).
  • So many companies have been discussed and I have read through both pages of threads and there doesn't seem to be a clear cut winner? I see very cheap providers and they seem to have less than favorable support/uptime then I see expensive providers who seem really legit but they have priced themselves out of the race...?

Is there a clear cut winner or best balanced provider (best balanced I mean between price and service/uptime)?
  • SEOHosting is the cheapest I've seen out there, there are limited number of IP's and because of that their value increases.
    • [ 1 ] Thanks
  • Question ......

If a site were being penalised by google for being on shared IP and then you moved it to a dedicated C class IP would it recover once moved?
    • [1] reply
    • Google would hardly ban a site based on IP. Normally almost very ban is per domain. If your domain is banned it may not help changing the ip (assuming that your host haven't block any google bots).

If a simple doorway page get banned best thing is to get a new domain on a new IP and start all over, if its a traffic site you may need to check with google webmaster tools and may contact google to see why it actually got banned.

    • I'm thinking that cclassiphosting.com
is the way to go, come on guys, when
you receive a deal this cheap then you
know right off not to use it as your
main money site hosting, use it only
for off-site landing, squeeze and sales
pages, this way if they go down it does
not affect your main moneysite, but
when they are up it's only more IP's
pointing to your money site which
is good SEO wise and traffic wise.

is good to looked at the featured ...
  • C class ip hosting is the best hosting for many website if you have run many blog on 1 hosting.then c class ip hosting is the best for this type of work
  • I'm also a user of skynethosting and their support team are very good and pretty quick. There are short times when you may notice some down time though.

  • From experience, you're better off buying a range of shared hosting accounts over the "SEO" hosts. Aseohosting is the only reliable one I've found but most are oversold, under-resourced, and lack experienced staff to manage problems.
    • [1] reply
  • hello I know I'm new but, just want to tell you guys that I've also used,

dollarseohosting.com and it has good support and servers are fast
  • I disagree with cclasshosting. dollarseohosting.com is by far the cheapest. $5 for 5 c class IPs, (at 1/4 the cost of aseohosting) and they have great email support, which is better than any other cheap seo hosting service like cclassiphosting or indianets or even skynet hosting for that matter (skynet charges $2/cclass ip).
I have 10 IPs with each of the cheapest c class ip providers and I found the sites to load fastest at dollarseohosting.com (even faster than seohosting.com, for that matter)
    • [ 1 ] Thanks
  • cclassiphosting.com are now www.rankfirsthosting.com probably to try and ripoff some new customers.
