Hey Warriors,

How do you check whether your OWN Backlinks are Indexed or not?

Some People Make a search in Google For Backlinks and see whether they are indexed or not while Others considered backlinks indexed when they can see them on Yahoo Tool...

What's the best practice to see whether a backlink is indexed or not among all these?

...
#backlinks #index

When Google cache shows the backlink, that's proof enough for me.

Google cache confirms the link is indexed.

Frankly, it seems somewhat impossible to ever confirm if a particular backlink is indexed by Google ... I don't trust the link operator, and I don't even trust the list of links in webmaster tools. Since I can't trust it, I just stick with the Yahoo number. Good enough for me!

you can use link diagnosis and run a report on your site, it will tell you how many back links you have and how many are indexed

So, do you guys think, when a Backlink is Cached by Google it has started to provide the link-juice to your site, Whether it's not shown at your website by BL tools?

The G cache tends to update after the SERPs update. I'm just saying the cache is proof that G knows about the backlink, If the backlink is indeed in the G cache.

An almost guaranteed way to get your link indexed is to post it on twitter and then ping your twitter wall.

After you've done that I wouldn't worry to much about the indexing.
