Question about outsourcing backlinks and indexing problems

So i manually constructed a list of 100 profile links that i've seen indexed for other sites in their backlinks. I then took the time to build these 100 profile backlinks to one of my sites, pinging them and had about 3/4 of them indexed within a week or two.
So i hire a couple people to build these same 100 profile links to some of my sites, and for some reason they just WILL NOT index. I don't understand, does this have something to do with IP addresses or something? Why does me manually building them allow them to all get indexed while outsourcing the SAME list of 100 links and they refuse to get indexed? ANy ideas?
