Hi to all warriors and Happy new Year.

I just started my new blog 3 weeks ago and is already ranking 1st in google of about 11 millions Google Search Results and is already receiving affiliate sales and AdSense clicks.

First I don't want to disclose my niche because their would be many people copying me. The keyword that my website is ranking for receives around 15000-20000 searches per month.

After looking at my analytics I saw that I am receiving more than 300 targeting visitors daily and 67% of the was from BigGoogle. I must say that I am also happy with the current revenue that the site makes. I receive anywhere of between $25-40/daily clickbank commission and around $20 in AdSense. I am pretty happy and this is my 1st blog that have grown so quickly.

Here is what I done:

1st: I got my writer to wrote me 25 articles related to the clickbank product that I am offering via my website and I submitted them to 20 Article Directories including back link to my website in each article. All of my articles was accepted from all the directories.
My articles was highly targeting and I received around few thousand views just in the last 2 weeks - This Rocks.

I payed $15 per article but I know it was worth it. The articles were very easily to read and understand and in other words my articles was telling the reader that they need to visit my website and buy the product.

2nd: I submitted my website to 500 web directories and I could say that help me quite a lot for my search engine rankings. I know from a personal experience that I don't need to submit my website to the directories all in ones.
So I submitted my website to 25-30 directories for the last 20 days.

3rd: I got my writer to write me other 5 articles and I went and made 2 squidoo lenses. Again my articles was basically telling the visitor why they should buy this product and how it will help them. I only include 3 backlinks to my website in each lenses. Every webmaster knows whats the power of squidoo and how much google loves it.

4th: I submit my website to 10 social bookmarking websites, and again I did submit my website ones per day. That took me total 10 days to complete and in other words 2 Min's of my time on daily basic for 10 days. I did this because I don't want my website to be sand boxed so I thing I done it in the right way.

This is all I done for my blog. I usually check my clickbank account and AdSense at the end of each 2 weeks, But I don't know something told me to do it, and it was for good. I have got in total for the last 12 days - 37 sales and $254.63 in AdSense. That's around $1K in under 3 weeks...

I already got my ROI and I am pretty happy ,couse I know this blog will make me money for the next 5-6 month on autopilot. Other great lesson I learned and it was the following.

When you do somethink with interest and put work in it - you success...
#1st #blog or $70 #daily #google #million #ranks #results #search #weeks

    Wow,

Congrats! I certainly appreciate the level of detail you have shared here. I was wondering, did you know this niche was hot beforehand? One of the problems I have is devoting too much to something before I know it can bring in the bucks.

          Ivancho,
Congratulations on your success with this blog.

I'm interested in your response to the following:

1- What's the average article length?

2- Did you give your writer any requirements for keyword density, use of synonyms, LSI content etc? (Or just let them loose on the CB topic and keyword(s)? )

3- Are the articles on your blog added as WP pages or posts?

4- Are you using any graphics (provided by the CB affiliates?) on your blog?

    Nice work!

    Some advice:

Keep building blogs and upload them, man. You never know what's gonna happen with your current site - and if it goes down, you're back to $0.00 / day. (Happened to me lots of times)

With even 2 sites a month you'll end up having 24 sites (with more or less revenue) within a year.

Make sure you keep finding new ways to improve your search results, even if you're #1 at the moment. Often, Google like new sites - so be careful not to drop down to #2.

    Good luck!

    Great work.

I like that you invested in articles and used them multiple ways.

    I have a similar system.

If you add MP3 & video syndication and a list builder to that formula you could be sitting on a profit explosion.

        Sure,

For niche blogs you can add Create text-to-speech podcast from RSS feed with Odiogo for iPod, MP3 player and mobile phone which will automatically convert your posts into voice. Another option is read articles yourself into audacity and then broadcast the recording to your blog using podpress.

Once you have MP3 you can submit your MP3 o podcasting syndication places and you will get more traffic from people who want to broadcast your channel.

For Video, make a video about the product (you can screen cast the sales letter, turn the articles into powerpoint or make a slideshow with music). Once the video is made load it to multiple sites using heyspread, tubemogul, video post robot, senuke or traffic geyser.

Use the Google Video one in your post (because it has no ad) and then have the blog URL in all the other videos. The video sharing sites will allow other people to embed your watermarlked videos on other niche sites.

(I also take the RSS feeds and submit them to RSS feed Directory - Feedage.com).

Next add a lightbox script to your blog from Aweber that darkens the page out when someone visits. Make sur3e to offer an incentive for people to get your 'free report' or whatever.

I have been doing this on niche blogs and also my own Internet Marketing Blog.

The alexa graphs go nuts and you will avoid suffering TommyGadgets rank drop if you syndicate wide and often.

Plus you are reaching people on multiple media levels.

Great stuff, Ivancho. A couple of questions:

          1) Are those 500 directories all listed on one page somewhere, or did you have to search for a lot of them separately?

          2) When you are outsourcing the articles, how much information do you give the writer? Do you just provide the longtail keyword and let him do the research for the content himself?

Great post with jam packed information. Quick question... did you submit each article to all the directories, or just 1 to each?

It all depends on how you feel about the whole dup content thing.

Additionally, do you have a list of all the directories you submitted to?

I get confused about this point because if the articles are on your website then it seems that you will get outranked by the directories that you submitted to.

      Very interesting

I remember reading about how web directories were a thing of the past on the WF.
I could be wrong, but do they still hold an important part on the web?

Where did you hire your writer from, Elance.com?

I've tried blogs in the past and made no money, the Clickbank products never did seem to convert.

So what did you do different to get your Clickbank products to convert into sales, are you building a list?

      Many thanks, Tony.

thanks for the post. great work. Just wondering how much time have you needed to spend to get it to this point? did you have work pretty much full time hours (40hrs/week) for 3 weeks, or more or less? thanks!

    What a great post.
this forum is the best. If you're prepared to do the digging, you can find answers to pretty much any IM question. There are so many different ways to make a quid on the web that it sometimes gets very overwhelming.
I recently put up a blog at myaltautofuel dot net which I'm kinda thinking to either add more content, monetize further with adsense and drive traffic to clickbank offers, or just sell it on.
Your post has given me inspiration to plough on and make this thing start paying for me.

    Ivancho,

A note to you, but don't get discouraged by what I am about to say. I have around 200 niche sites and with Google, they followed a very similar pattern: put site up, get links and articles for long tail keywords, reach 1st page on Google and often MSN. Three to six weeks later, site totally disappears from the first 100-200 results. Now, you may be upset when the income tanks, but realize that this is a normal process. Google likes fresh content and bumps you up high initially and then sinks you like a rock. With link building and more content, your site will eventually rise back up. I hope this helps. Please let us know how the site is doing after 3 months, I am curious!

I totattly disagree with you. I have got a site which I havent touched in the last 1 and a half years and the site still makes good revenue and ranks in google first page. I have never touched the site since I done the promotion and I can say no you dont need to post content everyday to stay top at google ... But thanks.

Well we are not familiar with your niche, but Google does prefer new content and if you do not update content, the site will go under eventually. Now, this is not true in every case and this may be the reason for your previous site staying prominent.

In general it is very well known that Google prefers new content. Plain and simple.

If you have a one page blog, can you just keep editing that page and pinging Google every few days? Does that count as fresh content or does Google actually want to see you adding new pages?

OK, please read my post again. I did not say you need to post every day to stay up in the rankings. I also did not say that your site will definitely follow this pattern. I said that based on many, many, many niche sites that I have built, this pattern is fairly common and DON'T get discouraged if it does, just keep adding content and links and your site will rise again IF it fell in the first place. Hope this clears up my position, and I hope your site stays up there.

Take that site and duplicate it ten times. I am serious. Use different IPs and mix up the titles and order of posting. Trust me, it works.

Duds, i.e. sites that don't perform well. Commonly used to describe bombs that did not explode, duds, ammunition that did not fire, etc.

                      Ivan,

Quick thought to make some quick cash. There is obviously a lot of interest here on what you did, and obviously you don't want to give away the niche. but why don't you write a report based on a generic niche and give people step by step breakdown of what you did including all the links to the directories, and bookmarking sites, your breakdown on articles and such and then offer the report here for $7-12 dollars?

You have everybody chompin at the bit...take advantage of the interest.

I am sure it would be a hit and a chance to pick up some quick cash....

                          Ivancho,

Congrads on your success, and keep up the good work. But if I was you I would follow Barry's advice and strike when the oven is hot. Many people are interested with your systematic approach. Also, I going to let you in on a little secret that most internet marketers know and that is:

You could provide the entire step by step process how you made money on your niche, and I would dare to say 80-85% of the people who bought your WSO would probably barely or never use your techniques.

The reason for this is that most people refuse to put the work in following the process, because it takes consistent action to be successful. Most people will just file it away, and just wait for the next infomational product to show up that strikes their interest.

Believe me I know from experience and spent money for years on info products waiting on that ultimate product, tool, or ebook!! Until I realized i was the problem why I wasn't successful, and started to do something about.

As I'm reading this post, I see I went a little bit off on a tangent, but all in all you provide us with some great methods to start off with. You should continue that with a detailed report.

Hey maybe it will be the ultimate report I've been searching for!!

I gather from several things you said in the different posts that you have

Fantastic article, I will try this on a niche I'm trying to crack at the moment. I've been at it for about 4 weeks and I'm ranking at position 15 for my keyword, hopefully by doing your technique it will propell we into the top five. I've only got 21,000 exact phrase competition so I think I'm in with a chance.

              Thanks again

It's not only the "content" that makes a difference, as you've seen, although content can help some. And some sites don't "tank" and then come back. However, I DO recommend continuing a backlink campaign on sites or blogs that you'd like to see STAY at the top of Google. Remember, your competitors also see you up there and would like to take your spot.

There is something that Google does once a site is really noticed by them. I have had many sites ranking at the top after a few weeks only to fall to the bottom and slowly work their way back up. I don't think it has anything to do with content on the site..

When you launch It's like Google finds all of these links suddenly and bumps you up to the top...within a few weeks/months it's like Google comes back around and moves you down and makes you prove that you are worth the top spot by both building on what you have, and by just staying online and not folding.

I have had sites that weren't hit very bad but they all seem to follow this. I'm pretty sure Google has something in their algorithm that handles this and for whatever reason needs some time to get on the new sites.

Yeah, you are completely right in most cases. It just is always the luck of the draw sotosay. Since this is a game of numbers, it just depends on how you work things out. I had a couple sites that did really bad, and then had a couple of sites that did really good so it can bounce back and forth. You just have to watch and analyze.

Well said, hence the need for rewriting articles. As can be seen from the original post, each article cost $15 so when you consider that each one can be rewritten 3 to 5 times at a cost of $5 per rewrite, how could it not make sense?

For others who doubt that content is king..................under two weeks and my site is on page one of all the majot search engines.

Well done OP..............just wish you had the time to teach me all about blogging.....lol.

        Hello Ivancho,

thanks very much for sharing your success (and all the wonderfull people who added their tips to this thread). Your success story (the 2nd I read today) just gives me hope, that there is really money to be made (and also in short amount of time) if one is persistent in taking massive action. Thanks for this.

I myself find it very hard to do keyword research and I really would like to have someone give me a step by step approach to this. Every ebook I read about it seems to be more concerned with Wordpress-Instalation than with going into detail about keyword-research.

This method works great with long tail keywords. Although, ranking for good long tail keywords getting harder everyday, but with few links just pointing to the landing page, will boost it for years. And this is because most marketers who target long tail keys, don't normally build links for them.

Is it just your one landing page for the CB product. Two, do you use the five articles on the two lenses or just a couple on each? more information on how you do your lenses would be very appreciated. Do you also social bookmark the lenses.
Im thinking about trying this out over the net few weeks so again I thank you for any information you offer me.

It's really good to see someone get something going. I've been working on this IM thing for most of a year and every dud has been a learning experience. Seems to me that hard work and the right niche will do it every time.

Now, if only the right niche were something I were intersted in. That is the joy of IM as a hobby and not a job, picking a niche you're interested in more than need.

You can bookmark your site at more than one social bookmarking site per day with out worrying about getting sand boxed. Just don't go too overboard.

What I do is bookmark my site to the top social bookmarking sites using SocialMarker every few days and mix up the keyword tags once in a while so they are not all identical.

Weird... I never had any problems. Maybe it's because my sites are hosted on dedicated IP's or it could be due to the fact that I use proxies and have several user accounts for each SB site. I haven't tried it just using one account and without using proxies so maybe that's the difference.

Any how... Nice work. Just goes to show that sometimes doing less is more.

I'll try out your method of just bookingmarking to one site per day and see how that works out. Hopefully I can cut back on some of the hassle of bookmarking. That would be great.

            Thanks,

    I have a few questions:
How much did you pay to get those articles written for you? I've always done my own writing, but now I'm curious to see how much it would cost to outsource.

Am I correct in assuming you took the articles and without retouching them submitted to 20 directories? As well as having the same content on your blog? I was told a few times here and there that so much duplicate content like this is a big honking no-no to google. ?

ok, ready for the rabbit trail? What is the general opinion on WP MU? I am looking for someone with more technical confidence than I who would be willing to install WP MU for a SMALL fee on my domain hosted with go daddy. Any takers? I am interested in knowing if Ivancho or anyone else has tried anything with MU and if so, what worked?

Thank you for the share. Really helpful. honestly traffic is my weakest link. your post help me a lot.

I've few questions though, hopefully you can clarify.

    1) how do you come up with the niche for the blog. is it based on top key word or are you targetting for the long tail?

    2) for the articles topics, do you use only long tail or just any keyword from the niche?

    thanks in advance

Well I done a research via google. I was looking for a product, that I wanted and decide to bloging about this niche which this product was related to. I cant say it is the top keyword but is very competitive.

      Any keyword for the niche.

      Hope this helps.

Ivancho, congratulations for your success and your excellent post.
    :-)

Some people stated above that a site would vanish in google (or lose it's good ranking) if it isn't updated regularly.

This is not true. It's a myth.

I have sites where I rank on SERP #1 since 2003 and I rarely update more than the year of copyright.

While most people declare blogs+plus regular updates to be the holy grail of SEO, they're missing out on important opportunities. There's more to SEO than fresh blog content.

I have to agree with this, even though so many people tell me to expect to get buried after initial success. I essentially did what the OP is doing now over a year ago - I was number 1 in my phrase match but since it wasn't pulling in enough profit for me I stopped updating the blog completely as of December 2007. It's still ranking exactly the same and it is a pretty competitive niche.

If he loses backlinks his site will lose Page Rank which will affect his positioning and therefore his income.

So you're right in he doesn't have to update the website but the outside SEO part does have to be fresh and constant.

Ivancho - James (back a page or so ago) was offering some serious gold for you as well, should you want to really increase traffic and potential rss subscribers. The text to speech for use with an Ipod, Mp3, e.t.c... is a potential windfall of new traffic.

You have had such good luck by submitting directories and posting articles, if you were to get a little more agressive social bookmarking and utilize audio on your site - well it could be off the charts cool. :-) Just my 0.02 cents.

BTW James, everything you said in your post here is sheer brilliance and I'm off to incorporate it all in a few of my blogs.

At any rate, it's inspiring to see this working for you Ivancho. Keep us posted.

Congratulations but beware the massive traffic surge and high keyword ranking could be a fluke.

For some reason Google like to give my new websites a page rank of 1 sometimes 2 for the first few weeks with only a few backlinks and if I catch the PR update. I used to get excited but quickly realised this isn't the norm and like clockwork they go back to the correct PR0 within a week or so.

Again this is just a FYI bro.

In fact, has anyone else noticed this lol?

Lol this have nothing to do witha Google PR buddy. My website is PR1 after the curent PR update, but again search rankings have nothing to do with page rankings.

Page Rank has nothing to do with search rankings????

This forum (Warrior) has great Page Rank (around 4 I think), you create a title with 123456 here and I'll do the same at my marketing forum (Page Rank 2) and I'll guarantee you the Warrior forum will show higher than mine for the term 123456.

Alas your success has everything to do with both Page Rank and search rank. If the directories lose Page Rank your article will be lower in the search ranks thus resulting in fewer visitors and less sales.

I didn't mean to rain on your parade and I seriously wish you the best of luck. I just didn't want you quitting your job or anything some time soon lol in case big-G does another funny turn like they do with me.

Sorry I dont agree here, This is all depending from the quality inboord links that site has and how google love the site.

I have got a site which is PR7 and i got nearlly 100k backlinks to it but guest what other site with PR3 and 30k backlinks is ranking higher than me.

And guest what I know why my site is not ranking high that his, its because of the quality of the backlinks

Higher PageRank does not necessarily guarantee higher rankings. Go to google and search for: computer memory

The #1 result is memorystore.com, which is a PR 3.
The #3 result is crucial.com, which is a PR 6.

How did memorystore.com outrank crucial.com? More / better backlinks with "computer memory" in the anchor text.

You're right. Search rankings and page rank are not the same. Most people want good Page Rank because a lot of High PR sites are also high in the search engines. Also, high PR sites often get a great deal of respect. But those two things are not the same.

    Ivancho,

Do you think posting 20-30 web directories a day is a bit much. I mean that is a lot of inbound links coming to your site each day. What is your opinion on just doing 10 a day and spreading it out over a longer time period?

I would say yes is too much, but if you doing in the right order and google don't get your site as a spam then is no problem. I actually mean you need to do it in the right order example: submit your website to 20-30 directories every day for 1 week, then stop and wait for other week and do the same .

      Hope you get the IDEA...

How many backlinks do think that Matt Drudge got in one day when his Drudge Report broke the Clinton/Lewinsky scandal? I can guarantee, it was a whole LOT more than 20-30 sites.

It's when you get thousands and thousands of "relevant" links of the same type in one day that causes the red flag with Google. 20-30 won't hurt you.

100% agree, and in other hand google doest penalize just because too many backlinks in oneday. Think about if your competitor site is ranking high than yours you will always try to spam his site so it lose search engines rankings and your site to become first...

I don't really mind sharing the niche if I do a WSO, my problem is sharing my websites URL...[/QUOTE]

      Ivan,

When I mentioned idea it was without disclosing any url's or websites. Basically those are irrelevant. You don't have to disclose any sites or blogs, because it is the SYSTEM that you use that is making the difference. Everyone here understands that you don't want to disclose any websites, heck, you don't even have to disclose niche, that is only natural.

Just outline the system, the steps, the links, the directories you use, etc and how you implement, and if I could be so bold to speak for everyone else, I believe that is the key they are looking for....not to hijack any of your sites.

      Regards,

    Hi Ivancho,

Thanks for sharing your success story. It seems that you are setting your blog by targeting Clickbank affiliate commission at first place. In your first step, you mentioned:

    "
1st: I got my writer to wrote me 25 articles related to the clickbank product that I am offering via my website and I submitted them to 20 Article Directories including back link to my website in each article. All of my articles was accepted from all the directories.
My articles was highly targeting and I received around few thousand views just in the last 2 weeks - This Rocks.

I payed $15 per article but I know it was worth it. The articles were very easily to read and understand and in other words my articles was telling the reader that they need to visit my website and buy the product."

It seems that there are some techniques involved in writing your articles. You mentioned the articles were written to tell the readers to visit your website to buy the product. How does that mean? You mean you have described the benefits of that product and persuaded them to go to your site in order to know more?

And based on my experience of promoting Clickbank products, it is necessary for you to understand the product first before you can actually write a good article promoting this. But if the products are not owned by you, that means you need to buy them or ask the product owner to show you the product before you can really promote it. How does it sound? Is this the way you were doing before writing up the articles?

Well Damen, All I ask my writer was to write me articles about the product I am promoting and convince the buyer to visit my website, cause he will learn more and more... nothing else...

I really doest see any techniques here.

And at least I have a copy of the product I am promoting and yes I give it to my writer as well to understand the project.

okay. Thanks for answering my questions. Yes, I believe you have to own the product before you can write a good review of it.

Sometimes it is a headache because it costs you money esp. if the product itself is an expensive one.

And if you have to write a review and compare several products, then you need to buy several ones - that means even more cost involved....

This can be solved by asking the product owner to send me the product free so that I can review it. But this also takes time and effort.

So I guess you have paid such effort to obtain the products in order to ask your writer to work on your articles, right?

Alkody, if you can't find the time to write the articles yourself, there are some aspiring copywriters who like to "guest post" on blogs for just the experience - some for the back link or for promotion of their own blogs and/or brand. You can ask around - here, other like-minded forums, even ask for help on Yahoo answers, e.t.c...

You can also offer a block advertisement on your blog for any other writer who may choose to help you out. Otherwise don't hesitate to ask around, there are people who do it just because they like to help. Just my 0.02 cents :-)

I have been using ghost writers to help for a long time but I have never thought of your suggestions to find someone who are not working for money. That should be an idea to try....

Is this the way you were doing before writing up the articles?
Damen, although it would be ideal to have purchased the product to have an understanding of it, I expect the key to having others write the articles for you is to first do some keyword research on the product and from that select the keywords which indicate an acceptable number of searches with relatively few competing pages; for instance, fewer than 50,000 or 20,000 competing pages. Give your list of selected keywords to a writer and let them do the research and write the articles.

When an article is submitted to an article directory, the author is permitted to place a section at the bottom of the article which is basically self-promotion by the author. This usually includes two links (some directories allow only one, others allow three) of the author's choosing and is the primary reason articles are submitted. There are many free directories and submitting to them does not cost anything to the author. When the search engines visit the directory and index the submitted article, the links contained within that article provide free backlinks to the sites chosen by the author.

    Hi Ivancho,

Great article - thanks. Just a quick question though ....

When you submitted your 25 product articles to the 20 article directories did you submit exactly the same article to each directory, or did you spin the content, tags, summary etc. because if you had to do this then you would presumably have to do it for all 25 articles which would take a long time ? I've heard so much debate about duplicate content, but I'm still confused because there are differing opinions over whether the search engines penalise you for it or not.

well, this aritcles was wrriten for marketing purposes so I dont really care about google here. ALl of my 25 articles was posted to 20 different directories, which means I had 25 submited articles in 1 directories - you get the idea ?

      Welcome to the forum.

Google came right out and said there was NO duplicate content penalty the way people say there is (the same article posted on several sites, for instance), so it's not really "opinions". It's just that some people don't really want to believe that there is NO 'duplicate content penalty' for syndicating the same article on various websites.

Sorry bro but your post is confusing.

You just said that 25 articles were submitted to 20 different directories. From that statement I take that you submitted each article 20 times, to 20 different article directories. However directly after stating this, you said that 25 submitted articles are in 1 directory, which reads to me that your 25 articles were NOT submitted to 20 different directories. Not making sense to me, perhaps I'm not reading you right. Am I the only one not getting this?

This is a rather important point to clarify because people may be taking your advice here - and as a result of reading it wrong they will be getting a proper google smack-down for submitting duplicate articles to so many directories.

I submit each article to 20 different directories.

A case of finding an objection that doesn't exist.

Duplicate content does not apply to article marketing - but no matter hnow many times you tell people they still want to worry about it. That "penalty" had nothing to do with articles in the first place!

I see a lot of people in this thread trying to find problems with this approach and I don't understand the point. It's a decent process and when you find a good, profitable niche it works well. It doesn't game any systems or cheat in any way - and it makes money. Not all niches will have such good results but you don't know their profitability until you try them.

Ivancho has stated he did NOT rewrite the articles - he submitted each article to 20 directories. That is not a problem - clearly it's working for him and does for many of us.

He is not building links all that fast - just submitting articles, submitting gradually to directories, and bookmarking once a day. If you are adding as many links as a PERSON can do every day, you don't have a problem. It's when you use software or whatever that adds many more links per day than is humanly possible that you can have a problem.

I'm not presenting any objections to Ivancho whatsoever, in fact I am very pleased and happy by his results. Nor am I creating an objection from nothing. There are oodles of people on this and other forums who complain about duplicate content being a problem - as you point out - so I thought I would ask someone who knows to tell me what they did. Simple as that really.

I only brought this up as it was a question I had regarding everyone winging about duplicate content. Since I am not an article marketer I have little or no idea about what is and what is not considered "gaming the system", so I asked for clarification to leave me and others who are interested without any doubts.

If you are trying to say that I am being antagonistic or trying to find fault in Ivancho's system I don't appreciate the inference. I admire Ivancho in his efforts and results, I'm only trying to learn from them and make sure his words are understood by the readers of this thread.

Years ago, the Drudge Report was an unknown. Now, the site gets BILLIONS of visitors a year. How did that happen? Because the Drudge Report was a "news breaker". Matt Drudge used the Drudge Report to break the news to the world that President Clinton was...er, "having dalliances" with a young intern named Monica Lewinsky.

How many sites do you think linked back to Drudge the day he broke THAT news? Let me assure you, it was in the thousands or even hundreds of thousands of websites. These were sites from ALL types of niches; they weren't all 'relevant' links, either. It was natural linkbuilding in its purest form. And it made all the difference with Drudge's position in Google's index.

Unless you are using a "bot" to build thousands and thousands of the same types of links on the same types of sites every day (now THAT might not look "natural"), I wouldn't worry about the speed that you are building links. Some sites gain hundreds of thousands or even millions of links in one day with natural link popularity growth. (How many sites do you think linked to the news agencies that were reporting the cease fire in Gaza?)

Just like the "duplicate content" headache that marketers are giving to themselves, this "you are building links too fast' argument is going nowhere, too.

    Hi Ivancho,

Thanks for sharing and amazed with the results that you've achieved !
    Few things to clarify :-

    1. When you submit to the top 20 article directories, do you do it manually or do you use any article submission tool ?

    2. What is the word count for each of the article that you outsource ? do you think 250 is good enough ?

    3. do you submit the same article to all 20 article directories ? Or do you modified each before submitting them ?

    4. all your articles signature points to your blog URL ?

    thanks,

Only the first paragraph referred to your comment. I don't think you are antagonistic as asking questions is logical. However, making a comment that people WILL get a smackdown regarding duplicate content is bad information because because it is incorrect.

Yes, you will see (new) marketers mention this topic frequently - but you'll find few of them understand it and many are only saying what they've heard from other (equally new?) marketers. My point is this is not anything to waste time worrying about. Focus on the process listed in the OP - and you can do very well with blogs.

This truly is a very workable and practical method to use.

Just a quick questions about Article directory. I am trying to submit to few different directories but apart from goarticles.com others are not approving in real time and i am waiting for their review. not sure if they will approve as my articles has been submitted to EA.com before? Am I right?

these 3 places I tried to submit as I wanted to submit to good directories only

          amazines *.c0m
          articledashboard *.c0m
          articlesbase *.c0m

After their review I will be trying to submit to more top directories..

I think this is something I can really do. I finally found a method I believe will work for me. Thank you so much for this information and all the detail. I am going to print it out and get to work. I will look through Clickbank and find a product I want to promote, buy it, and then get to brain storming for article ideas and keywords.

I have the day off tomorrow and I will spend it getting some articles written. I think I have the ability to do it myself and I will just take my time and amass 25 articles. I will write 3 articles a day for 1 week and 1 day. I have 4 hours of free time each evening.

After I write the articles I will move on to the next step. I'm really excited. Thank you so much... I'm going to make some money this year and I'm excited about that. It's true if you look hard enough in this forum...you can find some nuggets. Thank you for being so kind and sharing this information for free... you will reap what you sow.

I've been following and doing the same with various niches (plus a bit more promotion) for about a year now, and I must say I've not even come close $100 a day consistently with such a short amount of work.

Of course, I have many sites hitting big figures but they took a lot of effort and time (sleepless nights, blood sweat and tears ).

The articles you had wrote and Lens's must be killer man .

          Good job.

          Louis

P.S. If you don't mind me asking, are you getting over a dollar per AdSense click?

I've been experiencing the tank effect as well with several search results.. The ones I am experiencing the most success with have a nice quantity of 1 way do-follow backlinks and that seems to make a big difference when you aren't competing with millions of pages.. Google likes to shuffle things around quite a bit, my newest site has been up for a month and has first page results for the term Me2Everyone... Search for the term and you will find www.yourblogismoney.com/2009/01/me2everyone-review as number five in the results.. I believe that Ivancho's strategy is sound and if he countinues to build quality backlinks he will be able to maintain his dominence for his search term.

    Ivancho,

As discussed in my PM to you, can you elaborate more on your effort:

    1) If you submit your site to 30 to 40 directories each day, how much time you have spent on that per day?

    2) If you also submit your articles to article directories at the same period of time, what is the additional time you have spent on article submission per day?

    3) Adding these two up, can you give us an estimation on total time needed for these two tasks?

The reason I am asking this is because you told me that you do the above two jobs by yourself. So I am a bit curious the time you have spent on these two tasks on each day. This gives me (and hence others) a better idea the amount of time needed to get something done similar to your tactics for a brand new site.

    Hope you can advise! Thanks

    Damen

    2) If you also submit your articles to article directories at the same period of time, what is the additional time you have spent on article submission per day?

    3) Adding these two up, can you give us an estimation on total time needed for these two tasks?

The reason I am asking this is because you told me that you do the above two jobs by yourself. So I am a bit curious the time you have spent on these two tasks on each day. This gives me (and hence others) a better idea the amount of time needed to get something done similar to your tactics for a brand new site.

    Hope you can advise! Thanks

    Damen
    Hi Damen

    1) An hour I would say - I can do it in 30 minutes but I check everything before I submit to any directory.

BTW: Sometimes I do it in 30 minutes but most of my submissions get rejected by directories...

    2) An hour again...

    3) Well let's say 2 hours ? per day even less...

EDIT: Adding a question here, did you buy a domain and use it, or did you use some other way to blog? For example, blooger.com or so, and if so then which one did you use (if you can disclose it)?
    Thanks Fred

Well I would't answer this question as I mention in the above post that this blog have already been sold.

As for the domain - Yes I buy a domain and host the blog on my own hosting. I like to have control over everything of my site...

Ivancho, Thanks for posting your story here!

Can you tell me what are the article directories you used? I was submitting my articles to lot of directories but no one is really good! May be I'm missing something with my articles!

With your sig links and squidoo lenses did you linked back with your target keywords for SEO or they are just to bring traffic directly to your site?

    Any advice would be appreciated!

Do you think submitting your website to directories does help? I have a blog which is not getting much traffic even though it has a lot of articles on it and almost all of them are indexed in Google I guess. Do you think I can benefit by submitting the blog to directories (say about 100 or so high pagerank directories)?

I'm a little short but I'm gaining pace... My blog is 2 months old and earning me an average of $40/day in financial niche..
