blog commenting question

So I'm planning on starting a new manual blog commenting campaign on high pr sites and sites with lots of traffic.

I'm doing this to
1. get a link from a high PR page
2. Get more traffic from the blog itself

So, my question is...should I use the URL in the "name" and "url" option and leave the keyword as the name (or use a real human name with the url)

OR should I leave a name with no URL and then leave the URL in the blog comment itself with anchor text having the keyword I want to rank for?

Or both?


I'm trying to do whatever method will get me the most blog comments approved as possible. I am going to be leaving comments related to the post itself, but with wordpress' anti-spam filters I want to be sure it gets accepted and not just marked as spam.

I was also possibly thinking of having the comment include the anchor text/url to my main site while the URL with the "name" as the anchor text links to a micro site that leads to my main site. Is this a good idea or more likely to be marked as spam?

  • It depends on the sites.Mix those do
    1.By placing URL in the "Url" option and leave the keyword as the name
    or.
    2.If you have html acccess use real name and add the link in the comment.

    Don't add too many of your website links in one page.
  • Obviously using a real name will get you more approved comments than a spammy-looking keyword as a name.
  • Related blog comments is fruitful to your website rather than General blog comments.
  • Using Keyword as Name and URL in URL will get you double benefit. Referral traffic + Increase in terms of SERP for that keyword in Google due to anchor based backlink.

  • most of the webmaster will not like your url in your comment and they might delete that comment so best way is to pur key word in name section and url in url section and simply comment about the post......
  • Leave the name if you want to earn respect from bloggers WITHIN your industry and eventually earn links from them but if they are irrelevant high authority sites it does not matter if you spam the crap out of them

    • You can do one thing in place of name use any username and place any "profile link" in place of url to get indexed.
      Use your site links with anchor text in the body of blog comment.

    • Just make sure to comment something that doesn't look spammy. Your comment must be typically related to the post as it seems like you don't know a thing about linking. Then if your keyword appears on your comment, then you can put an anchor text link in it or if you haven't mentioned your keyword, you can then put it in the name/url section if ever it has. Either ways, they both have the same value as an anchor text link, but for traffic conversion, there is a big difference.

  • The best thing you can do is take your tip from the approved comments for each individual blog. Look at what has been already approved and try and match it to increase your chances of being approved as well.

    Since you are doing them manually there is no reason for any hard and fast rules. Go with what seems to work on each separate blog.

    • Leaving a link in the comment itself will get the comment deleted by most moderators. It just looks more like you are trying to spam for backlinks.

      If you see other comments with keywords as the name approved, then go for it. The keyword is always better to use for SEO, but will make approval more difficult. If your comments are not being approved, you can go back and try again with just a real name.

  • If the blog is related to your website's subject, then it will help you to get traffic. You should use name as the keyword instead of using the keyword in comment. Many a time, a comment with link looks spammy and can be removed by the admin.
