When doing keyword research with exact match are you looking at "global" or "local" searches to determine to use that keyword or not?

If you're using Google keyword tool you'll see both results Global and locally.
If you typed the keyword directly on Google, I think you'll only see the global results if the domain is google.com. I always use the Local Monthly Searches. Hope this help.

that tool isn't super accurate and I don't think it really matters. You use it to compare one against another.

Just make sure whatever you are using to estimate- that you compare apples to apples.

Depends on whether your keyword is targeting a global audience or a country-specific audience. In most cases, I'm using Local (United States).
