Manual vs. Robot Backlinking

I am a newbie so I have some questions in backlinkings.

Does google ban robot backlinkings?
Why many people pay manual backlinking services if robot dies all for your site?
What is 'profile linking'? Is it different from just backlinking at regular sites?
What is the different between articles at adsense sites and articles marketing purpose articles? Can you just spin the original adsense articles and submit them to the article directory?

I have my first 7 adsense sites- these are coupon sites mostly. Any idea how much do I need to do backlinking? They are all over 5000 local monthly searches and I think they are quite competitive niches. Mostly net and org TLDs.

Are there any really reliable providers who can work on 7 sites backlinking services?

I heard that backlinksindexer is good one. What are your experiences?

I am a beginner so I am looking for any basic help to get started.

Many thanks

To sum it up, It is up for much debate if Google can tell if you used 'robot backlinking' also known as automated backlinking. I personally believe they can't tell the difference between an artificially built backlink and a manually built backlink but anything is possible.

I won't endorse any service provider as it is obvious I am one but there are MANY service providers that could easily handle 7 sites. I handle sometimes 50 from 1 client.

Here's a possiblity...Any and all automated linking programs look for "footprints". If these programs can find and use these footprints, so can Google.

I'm guessing that Google is, or will, look into links that have common footprints. If all your links are on pages that say "powered by wordpress", these links may be devalued.

This is why I like to use a bunch of different footprints, with fewer links on each.

I don't think google can actually tell how a backlink was created. Of course they can measure the quality of the backlink. Manual links tend to be better than robot links in quality in general.

As Steven Miranda said, its hard for Google to discover automated links... But if you are using some bot or link blasting service, you will get loads of backlinks in very short period which appears suspicious to the search engines... this may results in algorithmic penalty.

    1)Does google ban robot backlinkings?
    No. Google doesn't ban.
If Google bans then i will submit all my competitors websites using robots.

2)Why many people pay manual backlinking services if robot dies all for your site?
Robots are used for bulk work.
Manual backlinks used for getting links from quality websites.

As per my idea is concerned manual process is much more better than any automated process. As you know quality matters a lot for Google so it's really better to go for manual option.

      Good Stuff!!

I have used a few automated tools in the past and I found that I spend more time trying to get the software actually work. For me, I outsource all of my SEO through oDesk. It may not be as cost effective, but my team is amazing at what they do. They use both automated and manual linking and I haven't had any problems with the big "G" so far!!

I do both but manual backlinking is better for building quality backlinks.

I tihnk the word you're looking for is: automated, not robot

I say use a combination. Have link diversity. Google cannot "ban" backlinks, they don't have access to the site, and cannot delete the link. Maybe you're trying to refer to sandboxing your website?

When I said ‘Manual’, it means ‘not robot’- you visit other authority sites and post the link by real human.

I read something like “too much bulk backlinking in a day will alert Google and result in a bad shape of your account”. What is all about? Is it related to sandboxing? Correct me if I am not clear or wrong.

Manual backlinking is much better. Automated backlinks are usually on crappy sites.

Automated backlinking is very effective if done correctly. Google cannot tell the difference between a backlink that was created with a software vs. one that was created manually. Just check out the Warriors for Hire section here on the Warrior forum, and you will find many reliable suppliers. I've worked on 7+ sites simultaneously many times.

But Google can tell if a link is on a page with a footprint used by programs like Scrapebox or xrunner.

Keep your backlinking methodology diverse and stay away from consistent footprints. i.e. spamming AMR constantly for money site, or using the same scrapebox auto-approve list for every blast..

Manual link building is excellent and when done correctly, you can go pretty quick. Just do your best to add quality/unique content with your backlinking techniques, that will help you get the most from web2.0s and such.

As others have mentioned, you can use automated linkbuilding to obtain rankings if done properly. Although 99% of the time that'd be considered blackhat/bluefart in terms of rankings and you probably won't last long with those type of linkbuilding methods.

I'd recommend using tools like Scrapebox to help find you sources for MANUAL linkbuilding though. As they can help you sort, and find the best sources for backlinks that Scrapebox and other programs cannot utilize. Learning Scrapebox is a MUST for any serious SEO as it can save you hundreds of hours in research time.
