No, that's the old way. I don't think google allows a swapping of
an ID because each block is created and named. As far as I know,
you must create the code yourself and copy it exactly from your
account. If it uses the old way of coding, you might get away
with it. But I doubt if you are using the old code, but your own created
code.

If you just swap IDs, the adsense probably will not show up. Google
will not match the ID with the ad block name and settings. Google would
not know what to do with it. If you have a 728x90 ad block named
topads728, and put another ID, google is going to look for the settings of
an ad block named topads728 on that ID. Obviously, none is going to
be found.

You will have to create codes using the other adsense account.

If not, you may see ads, get clicks, but nobody getting credit.

Seriously. Changing the ID will not work correctly due to the
reasons stated. Each ID defines ad block names and settings.
They are not transferrable.

Since you are thinking of just changing the ID, no reason you
cannot replace the whole code. Google itself tells you to do
this. You need to generate the code yourself, copy, replace.

People who are cargoing on about changing IDs are refering to
the (really) old way of generating adsense code. You did not
need to generate the code, but could come up with it on
your own. As I said above, I doubt seriously if the site uses
the old fashioned code.

There is no reason to not replace the whole code!

Ads also have a unique ad slot. If you just change the ID, what
are you going to do with the ad slot #?

Change the whole code.
