Google Indexing Question

I have all of my pages set with this url format: https://mysite.com (without www.)

However, when I go check my site's indexing on Google (site:mysite.com), the homepage is set as www.mysite.com and all of the other pages are without www.

The sitemap lists each page without the www. as well.

Also, when I click on the www.mysite.com, Google redirects me to http://mysite.com.

Any ideas as to why this happens and if it hurts my SEO?

According to some of these forum posts (and Matt Cutts), this is referred to url canonicalization and search engines treat a www. different than a no-www.

The advice on the forum is to remain consistent so I need to bring this issue up for further discussion.

It doesn't hurt SEO. You needn't worry about it.
