What To Do After You're Hit By Panda

Hey all,

Recently I think my site was hit by Panda. Was getting about 3,000 views per day then started using 1 way links. Didn't abuse the system, just put up 2 different articles, set the system to post 5 per day for 10 days and changed up the anchor text.

Within a few days of using it the articles I was back linking stopped appearing where they were and my traffic has plummeted from 3k to 500 per day. Not saying it's 1WL at all, it's a great service but has anyone else experienced this?

If so, how do you get back in Big G's good graces?

There's so many variables this could be that no one can give you a legit answer without knowing your timeline of events, the intricacies of your backlinking and your site, or the Google algo.

Correct but the backlinking was very straight forward. 3 links per post. 2 to the same article different keyword and one to a different site. So you say 10 links is too much? No it isn't, I've bought 200 a day on fiverr and haven't had this issue. This all happening in about 4 days.

Panda is all about a new concept of machine learning...

The guy that google employed is building an algorithm for google that determines the quality of site not only by links, but by user experience, time spent on site and lots of other factors.

So, if your site sucks and people are not spending time on it, panda will punish it at the end of the month.

That is my understanding of panda, so improve your site and it should come back up

I understand that but my site has been around for years with nothing but unique content with the majority of visitors spending at least 2 minutes on the site. While site quality is an issue, it wasn't with my site. That's even after changing themes and site layouts multiple times WITHOUT losing my traffic.
