Adsense click on site with no adsense?

Is it possible to receive credit for an Adsense click when the site has had the ads removed for over a week? I just did :confused:. Double-checked for ads to make sure and there are still no ads.
I'd removed the ads a couple of weeks ago after getting 12 clicks from 7 visits and 14 page views just to be safe and to monitor. Things looked back to normal with traffic, page views, no clicks or adsense revenue--until this.
