What did you guys do after Panda update?

Some of my sites are hit, really hard, after the Panda update.
I've tried my best to rank them back but for some reasons, they are stuck at 100+ position.
Rewrite content, add new content, more backlinks and it doesn't seem to work.
But for some of my other sites, the rankings has not changed.
It's strange. They are mostly under the same IP address, and most of them are published using XSitePro. I don't have a pattern of why some sites stay in rankings and why some sites dropped in ranking.
I know some of you managed to rank back your sites so what did you do to rank it back?
