That's the whole point of Ezine. As long as you keep the links in the author resource box the author will love you for adding their article and links on your website.

        Really!!

And they are cool about you chopping them up and editing them?!

If this is the case, then that opens up some possibilitys!

I agree that the point of Ezine is the get your articles out there and get links when people put them onto their site and give you credit as the original author with a link back.
However, the OP has stated that he changes the content of the article. The issue with this is that if he gives the credit to the original author when he copy and pastes it onto his blog then he has just changed the article without the authors permission. It's like being mis quoted within the press... That's a legal issue. If he doesn't give credit to the original author and then republishing it then it's simply theft to benefit financially.

well I think that manually spinning the articles won't hurt the author of the OP
        Same points as above.

Yes as long as you give credit to the back links the author wanted.

And am I to assume that you contact every author to get their permission to rewrite their original article for your own financial gain?
Also, I would like to know if you use the author bio and links back to the original authors website where applicable?

To be honest I have to say this seems like a disgraceful practice whereby you are financially benefiting from the hard work of others.

My apologies if I have got the wrong end of the stick but if you can answer the two questions above then I'm sure it will be clear how ethical your approach actually is.

My guess is that if you're changing the article title and changing the content within the article, there's probably a good change you're taking out all resource box info on the article as well. In other words, you are STEALING other people's hard work for your own personal gain.

If you're a newbie, I would strongly suggest you AVOID this advice at all costs. It's a shame that people rip off others hard work to try to gain something out of it. Trust me - this is short lived, and things like this will eventually catch up to the person doing things like this.

This sounds like an ethical request rather than a legal one.

I have taken articles from here and added a paragraph to the start and finish of the article.
The start of it was a blurb about what the reader was going to be reading which included an introduction to my guest blogger. (with his links here)

The last paragraph went over what was just read including thanking the guest blogger and their bio box.

      win/win

              Hey Warriors,

I would like to add something here, hopefully that's gonna help you guys.

Adsense is a really good way to make money online, in fact it's also the most easy way to make money. I make anywhere from 4K to 6K a month from adsense.

What you guys can do to increase the earnings potential is...

              1. Create your own blog instead of using blogger dot com.
Let me explain this... Let's just say you write about weight loss tips then you can create one blog on your own domain let's say www dot weightlosstips dot com. By doing this you will have more control of your site.

Also the sites on personal domain rank faster in google than sites on blogspot dot com or any other free hosted blog. And it's really not easy to create your site. You can hire someone to that for you and it will cost you about $100-$150.

              2. Add building your list. Let say you have 100 people coming to your site every day than you are getting paid once by google when they visit your site and click but if you ask them to give your their name and email address you can now email them again and again and sell more stuff.

              3. Don't copy content.
Yes, that is true that the you can copy the content from ezinearticles dot com and paste it to your site and as far as you are pointing a link back to the author you are fine but google will count it as a duplicate content and will not rank your site high in search results.

What you can do is take an article from ezinearticles dot com and use it as your resource. For example let your you copied content from ezine that says "10 tips to lose weight without doing any exercise." and you can rewrite it something like "Discover 10 hidden secrets to lose weight without doing any workout".

Now this would be your content, you don't need to link back to the ezinearticles. And it should not take too long to re-frame the sentences.

Hope this help guys, let me know if you have any questions on this... Cheers

When you are hosting your site on your on domain then you have more controls on your site. Such as you can't write your description on blogger or wordpress dot com. Doesn't that plays an important role in rankings???

Also as we are talking about description tag that plays an important role in CTR.. You don't just want to rank high in Serps but you also want to get good CTRs.. Right??

I know there sometimes pages like hubpages and squidoo do rank well but that will be in case where the keyword is not too competitive.

I've been creating my own unique meta description tags (per blog page) for blogspot for over 4 years.

A lot can be done with blogspot, If you know what your doing (code, seo, etc...).

A "unique" description for posts has nothing to do with whether a site is free or not.
Nor does it have to do with ranking faster.

Your ability to write a description has nothing to do with rankings. Rankings
are not based on a meta description.

So the following is still bogus:

Theres no substitute for researching and writing your own original content.

That being said, there are lots of ways to get people to submit articles to you just to get backlinks for their own sites. The problem is that the quality is often low and your blog will suffer accordingly. They are often submitting the same article all over the web so you are essentially trying to rank the same material thats already out there which never works well for real traffic. Your best bet is to rewrite them and make them unique which takes just as long as writing your own.

I have a blog with about 50 of my own unique, well written posts. The same blog has about 900 user submitted posts. Can you guess which pages get all the traffic? Yup, the original stuff. 60% of adsense earnings are coming from those 50 pages, the other 900 combined make up only about 40 percent.

Roughly speaking, the original content is earning nearly $.70 per page, per month on my blog. The crappy stuff earns about $.02 per page per month. Big difference. Do keyword research and write good stuff with good on-page SEO and you'll eventually earn. The shortcuts simply don't work nearly as well. At least for me

To say of what is that it is not, or of what is not that it is, is false, while to say of what is that it is, and of what is not that it is not, is true.

If you're making changes to the articles anyway why not just use free plr articles - there are millions of them floating around online and you won't be infringing anyones rights.

However, 1 decent original article per day is better than 5 copied.

I doubt that the OP has actually done this for any length of time.

The best way to use ezine articles is to:
    1. Create your own heading for your post
    2. Write a brief sentence about the content
    3. Then past the complete article in your post, including the heading & resource box
RESULT - you get to use the keyword title you need without changing anything in the original article and you have completely adhered to the rules.

    Good Luck

Actuall i don't buy that "copied" content or articles are not good or they do not rank. Or you get a penalty.

I run 2 classified ads websites and 80% of the ads posted are EXACTLY the same (from the same people i guess, same Page Title and same body). Still i rank very well to various keywords and i make some money after a year or so trying. I haven't seen any problem at all.
