Difficulties in understanding google adsense

Hi Friends,

I am new to google adsense and have tried almost everything I read about adsense, but the more I read the more I seam to be far away from earning from it.

What I can't seam to understand is that there are time when the page view is 34 and I have a hit and another time I got 1,800 page views without a hit.

What must I do that I have not done?
I will appreciate advice from the experts.

Hi markbor,

The key to AdSense earnings is targeted traffic.

1800 impressions with no clicks indicates you have not achieved targeted traffic.

Check the visitor source if they are coming from image source then that will not going to help lot.
