Hey everyone,

I've seen a lot of Adsense themes and use quite a few of them, and make good money...

but I'm just wondering if anyone can recommend me some that maybe I haven't seen or heard of that work even better than what I'm using.

Anything similar to ProSense or BlueSense out there?

How about CTR Theme? --- And also, does anyone know where I could get the developer license for CTR Theme? I posted in the WSO thread, but haven't gotten a message yet.

I also looked at Socrates theme, but the developer license if limited to a 10 pack or something, so that's out of the picture.

Any ideas?

I recently saw this template called "adsensepress" which looked like it would convert really well.

      You could check that out.

Looks great, but I'm not sure about a developer license on this one.

Thanks for the recommendation - may have a winner here - the features are incredible, and it can be used on unlimited domains.

For Adsense, I've tried Prosense, Bluesense, Heatmap, Thesis, and others, and Clickbump Engine blows them all out of the water in terms of attractiveness, ease of use and setup, rankings, click through rates, and overall flexibility. Paired with the Jumpstart and Clickbump SEO plugins, Clickbump Engine can't be beat.

The Clickbump developer's license is a pretty cheap one-time fee.

    Hi Drew

I've just started using WooThemes' "Canvas" for my adsense sites. It's $70 for unlimited domains.

It's more of a framework than a theme really - you can choose 1,2 or 3 column layout with options for sidebars to be on the left or right etc. I like adsense sites to be pretty plain so I just add a header graphic to the basic theme and change my links etc.

All the styling (link colours, fonts etc) is done from the theme options which means no having to grovel through the stylesheets!

I like it because I can test different layouts (and font & link colours etc) really quickly without having to change themes. For example I was watching a webinar where the guy said his highest converting adsense unit was on a left sidebar (Google had actually told him to set it up like this)

I decided to test it out on a site of mine so literally with the click of a button tried a new layout for a few days. In my experiment it actually halved my CTR so I changed it back again pretty quickly but the point was that it was easy to test that kind of stuff.

I also use the Whydowork Adsense plugin to manage my ads.

    Hope that helps
    Libby

Niche Adsense Themes by Mark Mason are alright : nicheadsensethemes.com
Recently, I'm getting about 2% to 4% on average per day in Page CTR with these. But I'm not a Pro.
But I'm looking at ClickBump and CTR Theme ( NOT CTR Themes ) right now.

The nicheadsensethemes site looks great but it looks like the ad appears below the title which is a definite no-no for Adsense.
Ads below the title is against Adsense TOS?

The Clickbump theme has 12 different templates, so it's essentially 12 different themes...

No, only if you try to hint that they are not ads.

Have a read of this from Google Adsense blog:

      1. Ads shouldn't be placed under a title or section heading in a way that implies that the ads are not ads.

      The blog article is here:
Another look at optimizations - Inside AdSense

So, it's not so much the placing of them under the title, more what the title is.

So adverts under the title 'Welcome!' (naff example I know) would be ok but adverts under the title 'Recommended Websites' wouldn't be.

Then again, that's just *my* interpretation of this post. It's from 2008 as well so would be good if anyone has anything more recent from Google that they could post.
