If you need to by targeted or semi-targeted traffic, either PPC, links or some other method, where would you go?
I'm looking for places OTHER than AdWords

Have you tried Bing? There are some free vouchers around if you look for them and I have found the bids to be much lower than AdWords.

There's a bunch of areas where you can by traffic from.

      Facebook ads.
      Myspace ads.
      Bing/Yahoo
      Abrite

In my experience, PPC nowadays is too pricey to be profitable. Upwards of $3 dollars per click and lows of about $0.75 is too much. Maybe I just suck at PPC LOL.

Have you had some success with Bing? I've never really jumped in fully. (Never been a huge PPC guy.) Adwords has grown into a monster so I've considered looking at Bing as an alternative. Should be cheaper and I'd assume there's less competition.

You can get traffic on Bing for 5 cents (or a bit less).... Minimum bid is 5 cents - so you can set 5 cents and add a large amount of keywords to your campaign...

Although most of your keywords won't display ads (due to the low bid) - you might find some gems that will get clicks for 5 cents...

The quality of traffic from Bing is quite decent so if you have CPM of $50 or more on your SEO traffic - you should be break-even/profitable on your Bing traffic... If you got more than $50 - you can afford paying more for the clicks and get more traffic.

      Hope that helps!

P.S.: don't think too much and just give it a try - it's very fast to start working with Bing and with 5 cents per click you won't be spending more than a couple of dollars/day at the beginning (chances are that when you start - you won't spend any money at all until you find some keywords that will actually display ads for 5 cents)

Facebook can micro target. This is pretty amazing. I think Facebook is a good shot for you Fking. I am getting 0.01 -0.05 clicks that are targeted.
